My wife got to the embassy at 8:25 am for an 8:30am appointment. Talking about cutting it close. Needless to say she went in right away. She got checked trough security and they kept her cell phone.
First window a Moroccan man checked her file and informed her that the file is complete. He also asked her if she speaks French and English. He told her to wait for her name to be called.
Her was called and was told to go to a room where she was greeted by an older American man. They say hi to each other, and the Moroccan man came and informed the CO that he will translate for her. The interview went something like this.
What is your husband’s name?
Where did you meet?
How did you meet?
When was the last time he came to see you? Give me the date when he arrived and when he left?
His ex-wife’s name is XXX what is her last name?
Why did he divorce her?
When did you get married?

How along are... read complete review

Sent an email 5-7 days after NVC ship date. I requested a confirmation of receipt to both our emails and my native fiance's cell phone. They replied 10 business days later to all requested with an interview date & time. They also sent email with attachments of appointment letter, medical office information, forms to complete, list of required items to bring. We are very excited!

Writing on behalf of my husband's experience at Casablanca
Arrived at embassy at 7:30am. Checked in, went through pat down security at 7:40am. Went through full security inside around 7:50am. Went inside and sat down waiting for his name to be called. Around 8:15am an american blonde woman called his name and asked how he was doing? He said good, she took his fingerprints and asked him to have a seat. The waiting area was full now. After waiting around 20 minutes a Moroccan man called his name and asked for his medical papers. He also asked to see the Arabic Marriage Certificate. He opened the packet and took out a paper, asked for his cell phone number, and asked "have you ever been outside of Morocco? How long? why?" and then was asked to have a seat again. After 20 more minutes an American man called his name and started to talk but my husband could not hear him. (a problem with his microphone!) The Moroccan man helped him with his microphone. After they got the comm... read complete review

So on 10/10 my husband and I woke up at 6 am to the sound of the athan- a feat for me as I have been battling a cold since before we arrived on Tuesday of that week on the over night train from Taza.
I had made sure the night before that we packed our luggage - inshaAllah - for the return trip to Taza the afternoon of interview. I made sure my husband had his packet of copies and his packet of originals.
We arrived at the Casablanca consulate at 7:45 am - my husband complained that no one had arrived as early as we did. I told him to be quiet - in America on time is late and 5 minutes early or more is on time.
By 8 am my husband had crossed the street and went into the consulate - not before almost giving me a heart attack - about where the passport sized photos were located - luckily in my wallet.
The consulate personel didn't want to allow me into wait with my husband inside the consulate for his interview and tried to get... read complete review
