Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I am new to the visa process so there were some problems at first. First of all the consular wasn't sure of the right answer of how to start the visa process so I was given a number to call at the embassy. I called and asked if I could start the process there as I heard it was faster but was told that they don't do that anymore (wrong answer, it was July and the memo to start accepting again was in March). Review Topic: K1 Visa

Contacting Embassy for Info----> My experience was that when I spoke to an American, they were very helpful. However when speaking to someone with an accent (I'm assuming Serbians working in the embassy) they could be very cold and scary.

Packet 3 ----> Took them a couple of weeks to send it.

Interview Date -----> Took them about a week and half upon receipt of packet 4 to schedule date. But the date, once scheduled, was only 4 weeks out.
