My interview was at 10:00 on the 22nd of August, a little over 2 weeks after my medical. My friend came with me for the day for support!

We arrived at Vauxhall just after 9am. It didn't take long to see the embassy via the riverside walk. You can also see Battersea power station and the super cool swimming pool suspended between two buildings. The process could not have gone any smoother. The official directed my fiancee to a cafe that stored her bag for a fee, which was refunded in the form of a voucher for the cafe. Security was very standard similar to that of the airport. Signs clearly indicated where to go and a number was assigned. At the first window the attendant took the necessary documents and reviewed information and then said to wait for our number to be called again. The second attendant was very friendly and personable, asking several questions, but nothing too challenging. He stated the application was approved and we were on our way. We were in and out in about an hour or just over.
