I thought the embassy was great and the email system works well, but I have to agree with Julie, the phoneline was expensive and useless. I had to call a few times regarding the kids and courts and they didnt have a clue of what I should of done. I was trying to make sure my approval didnt run out.
As you can see by my timeline I got my interview date 3 days after court it was a close call. I did ask for that date via email and they were very kind to let me have it My approval would of ran out on the 23rd and London were great!!!!, I didnt want to mess about in getting an extention.

I do have a problem with the Courier Service they are using now though...it is called SMS and there is no tracking # that you can use, and I was given up to 4 days for the visa...no specific date...so not wanting to stay in for 4 days, I tried calling the customer service line for SMS.... it's an 0870 #. All I got was an automated message that said

If you need to send a package to the Embassy....press 1

If you had your Visa approved within the last 5 days....press 2.....which I did and got the response...'you need to phone the Embassy on the 1.60p per minute number and ask them when to expect delivery' (not very helpful).

So I hung up and redialed to see if there were any other choices....there was a press 3....this started the phone ringing, and ringing, and ringing...after 10 mins I gave up!!!!!

I am not sure whether this is a ne... read complete review

I felt the expensive hot line number was a complete waste of time, everything else was very quick, they told me when to expect visas, and they showed up then.

Can't fault them on that, in my experience when it left the NVC it flew
