Excellent interview - the lady was very nice asked me 3 questions - how did we meet - when did I plan to leave and what was my fiance's full name! that was it, she asked me to raise my left hand and she swore me in, was the happiest day of my life and my mother and I enjoyed the rest of the day in London before flying back to Edinburgh - I had 4 days to pack and set of to New York I was tired but so excited it was all very worth it to be with my baby!! the whole process made me a nervous wreck - but love does prevail !

Nigel had his interview this morning and overall had an incredibly positive experience. He found the embassy with no problem although figuring out what line to get in was confusing. Some of his paperwork said immigrant visa and some said non-immigrant visa but someone at the embassy helped him straighten it out which he was grateful for. He had to wait about 3 hours in total until the whole thing was said and done so that was definitely the worst part. One guy took some of his paperwork and then he sat for a couple more hours until the "interview" part. He said the woman he talked to was very nice and very American, ha. She asked where we met so he told the story about meeting in Vegas and a few more details and she commented that our story is very cute and that was that. No more questions asked. So just like most others who've gone through London it was a painless process. Woohoo!

What a relief! There was a lot of waiting, but the staff were really friendly and I got the impression it was all quite 'routine' and they're not there to catch you out and fail you!
Just make sure you have all your documents toegther and wait patiently for your number to be called. My Officer asked me how we met, when I knew I wanted to marry him, when we got enagged and where we were going to marry. Didn't even ask about my Fiance's previous marriage or ask for any further evidence. She was really nice, as was the first Officer who took my documents, and overall I was really happy with the service I received. Let's hope the adjustment of status goes this well! Nice one London.

My appointment was scheduled for 9.30am and I arrived at 9.00am. Just as I walked up a man in a yellow coat said all 9.30 appointments form a queue over here. So I joined that queue. There were about 10 people in front of me. Lots of new people kept coming and going to the front but the big fat jolly man checking interview letters pointed them all to the back of the queue where they looked on in horror at it's growing length!
By about 9.15am the queue had quadrupled! I was then at the front and gave my letter and passport to the jolly fat man. He looked at my passport and went awww how cute and showed everyone! Lol I am 16 in the picture so it's 8 years old now. Lol i just grinned at him and he ushered me through.
You go through the xray and metal detector hut where they ask you to show your ankles! Checking for knives and guns I spose.
You then have to walk all the way round the buiding to get inside. Once inside you show your letter at t... read complete review

Ciaran reported no problems at all when we went or his K-1 Interview.
Everything was very smooth and he was in and out quite quickly compared to what we'd read in the past.
