Interview was 15/7/14 at 9am.
Arrived shortly after 8 am.
Lined up outside for a short time where they checked interview letter & passport.
Went through security and into waiting area. Looks a lot like a train station with a bunch of windows.
Was called up to first window and was greeted by a nice American named Eric. Asked for paperwork. Did not want copies. Had a nice chat. Was given my chest xray.
Sat back down for a bit.
Was called to second window for interview. Another American gentleman. Went over paperwork and asked a few questions. Didn't really look very hard at paperwork. Gave it all back to me. Only kept the passport. Said I was approved!
Was out by 10:30am.

I left my house at 6:40am and arrived in the area of the embassy about 7:30.
After handing my large bag into goulds pharmacy I relaxed and made my way to Starbucks aiming to go to the embassy at half 8 as my interview was at 9.
In front of the embassy were two lines, the line on the left is the first one you need to go to as that one checks you in and signs your interview on their records, you then have to join the back of the line on the right.
I advise going in those lines a bit earlier than half an hour before your appointment as I didn't even get to the top of the second line until after 9.
You are then checked by a second member of staff and placed in a third short line to go through security.
I went through that fine with my phone, electronic cig, and even perfume.
You then turn right and walk around the building to some stairs which lead up to the reception, now she's the one who gives you your ticket number to be called.
I walked... read complete review

Arrived at 9:20, walked to the embassy from oxford circus tube station aprox 15 mins.
If you are not familiar with London (im not) use the app 'citymapper' it will tell you what buses, tubes and trains to get on and when to get off, pretty cool.
Qued/lined up outside for about 40mins - 1 hour, (i met some nice people in the que and we had abit of a chin wag and a giggle so it went pretty quick).
By the end of the first que you have to show your passport, DS-160 and interview confirmation letter then you get sent to the second que with a bag to put in all metal items for security.
Phones are allowed! however signs inside the building tell you to switch them off. NO big bags are allowed, i had a smallish shoulder bag and it was fine.
Once inside you talk to reception and get given your number, for K visas its a I9XX number (i assume). Sit down and wait.
My number popped up and got sent to the ... read complete review
