Had two interviews, each of which lasted less than 10 minutes. Waited longer to have my number called to go up to the window than I stood at the window.

Review Topic: General Review

my appointment was at 8:00am, and I arrived at 7:25ish to beat the queues.
there was only three IV interviews before me, so I did not had to wait long for my first interview.
the first interviewer was very nice and polite and made a joke.
I then had to wait roughly 40 mins for my second interview,
where the interviewer, another nice polite man, just asked general questions about my fiancee and myself and how we met. He also asked about my Fiancee's father and ask about he's old job (Retired Navy).
After that I was approved and the man told me, I will have to wait up to 2 weeks for my visa to be in hand, but it could come sooner.

Interview this morning. Whole process took less than 2 hours. Security and entry procedure already described in this thread so no need to repeat. May be helpful to note that some had turned up at 7.15am although their interviews were scheduled for 8.30/9am. These people were separated into a slower line so that those with an 8am appointment could get in sooner.

Got in at 7.45am for 8am interview. Got called after 30 minutes. A friendly guy took my passport, 2 photos, and took my fingerprints. I am an NVC filer so he had my birth and police certificates already in front of him. He had a few simple questions about my paperwork (name of wife and in-laws.) He chatted a little about how awful the LA subway system is (to put me at my ease I think.) He then told me all my paperwork was in order.

After this I waited for about 1 hr before being called again for the interview proper. A kindly lady asked me to raise my right hand and swear that I was telling... read complete review

The embassy interview, was a breeze, the queues were very well managed with several helpful knowledgeable staff, the waiting time was only an hour, and the staff were lovely, very happy with the experience in London!

18/7/14, day of Interview

Arrive at Embassy 8am, interview not until 9:30, get taken in straight away with no issues and get my ticket number, seated by 8:11. I914 was my ticket number.

9:30 comes along I get called up for my first interview, nice older gentleman with a handle bar mustache. Takes passport, Birth/Marriage cert and Police cert, plus a photocopy of each, also took 2 passport sized pictures. Then asked me for my AoS, as soon as he saw it he told me it was the wrong one. I had the I-134, actually needed I864, he said it wouldn't require me to come back down to London (thank god) just need to mail in the right form. He then sent me to pay my MRV fee and to return, he gave me back my papers and asked me to take a seat to be called for the next interview. (Total time 15 minutes)

10am. Nothing

11am. Nothing

12pm. Nothing, room emptying.

1pm. Still nothing, room emptying faster.
