The review from 'shipping foecast' below was very helpful.
My interview was also changed from morning to 1pm. I walked past at 11.30am and had a panic when I saw a queue of about 20 people! But I couldn't face the process without caffeine so wolfed down a sandwich & tea at Starbucks on North Audley Street and went back; queue gone! Maybe non-immigrant visas?
Somehow, I ended up being number 11 in the queue.Total about 20 people. Waited about an hour for the first interview. They didn't want any of the paperwork they requested in the checkist - just had me cross something out and tick a different box. Noone asked for the DS260 despite the screen telling us to get that ready. Nor copies of civil docs or tax returns etc. (probably best to take them anyway though)
Waited about another 30 - 40 minutes for the second interview. I was asked
- where is your husband now?
- what do you both do for a living?
- how long hav... read complete review

I'm not going to give report on lining up, because nothing has changed and it is well covered by the many reviews posted by other members.
I was in line early, went through security, got my number from the front desk (I902) and headed into the very full waiting room where I stood with a few other IV applicants who had been great company in the line outside.
My number was called at 1.03 pm for processing of documents. It may have taken a little longer because I have a K2 as well, but everything was organized in an accordion file with tabs and cover sheets so I was easily able to pull them out as they were requested. They wanted one photo per applicant, as others have reported, but I had taken two each because that is what is on the instruction list on the website. It was complete by 1.09 pm and I went back to join our 'support group' in the waiting room.
My number was called again at 1.25 pm and I was interviewed by a lovely American lad... read complete review

Showed up about 30min early, was told to come back in 10min. Went in around 0730, and the place was PACKED. Finished the first window by 0900. Pretty much a lot of hurry up and wait. Called in for the interview around 1015, only took about 5min. The lady asked me how we met, what my fiance did for a living, have I met her family, if we have travel/wedding dates yet. After that, she said she was happy to approve us and that was it. Super easy and painless.
