Had my interview today and was approved!
It honestly happened so quickly that there's not a great deal to talk about. I seemed to be one of the only ones there as there was no queue to wait in! Just straight into the airport style security where I went through there no problem. The guard asked me to drink some of my water, I'm guessing to prove it's not poisoned or something?
Then I headed into the reception, they put a sticker on my letter and told me to go up to the first floor where another lady directed me towards the smaller waiting area off from the main room. I sat down for less than 30 seconds before my number was called. Handed over my paperwork, did the fingerprints. He took the paystubs as well as the W2 and affidavit. Then I was told to sat back down.
Less than 2 minutes passed and I was called up again! Asked where my fiancé lived and what he does, when we met, and what my plan was for when I arrive in the US. She then told m... read complete review

Arrived later than planned due to train delays, however was allowed in after presenting my interview letter. Went through security and into the building. Friendly man took my interview letter again and placed some stickers on it with a number (you will need to keep this number in your thoughts throughout your stay). Went upstairs (floor 1, left and left again) to the waiting room. Was called very shortly (5 mins of waiting) and saw a friendly guy who took from me my birth certificate, passport, visa photographs, interview letter and affidavit of support (+evidence). I explained that one of my middle names was incorrect on my passport, due to an issue with my mother. He noted this down and I scanned my fingerprints (left, then right, then thumbs). He asked if I had a date for POE planned and I said ASAP because my fiance's mother recently passed away. He told me to sit back down and returned my interview letter and gave me my chest x-ray.
I then had to wait about an hour to be se... read complete review

My interview was at 10am 16 February 2018 and I got there about 9:30/45. I had been to the old embassy a few times, however this was the first time at this one so I wasn't sure where to go. Luckily it's a short walk along the river from Vauxhall station.
It was rather quiet when I got there and I was able to walk right in. Laptops aren't allowed and they made a point of that. I knew this already so I only had my cell phone.
I was sent to the front of the queue at the front desk as I was applying for an immigrant visa, and my name was on their list. They gave me an I number and I was then sent to floor two I think where there were loads of people applying for non immigrant visas. They sent me around the corner where there were only a few people waiting for immingrant visas.
My number was called before I could sit down and the gentleman behind the desk asked for my original civil documents only. He reviewed that he had all he needed and told me to sit and wait for m... read complete review
