So here we are, I finally had my interview today and I was approved!!
My bus from Somerset left at 2:20am, superrrrr early. I got into London Victoria at 6:30am and my interview was at 11:30. I’m actually very glad I had all this time as I was able to go get some coffee, relax at Victoria station and get some breakfast which wasted a couple of hours. It was just my luck that the Victoria line was completely not running which panicked me because I am NOT a London person and had no idea how else to get to Vauxhall! But luckily by the time I’d had some food and wandered to the underground all was well and it was just two stops southbound to Vauxhall, so really quick and easy.
Once at Vauxhall station I left via exit 4 and used my gps to walk along the river which was just gorgeous as it was lovely and warm today. I got to Vauxhall around 9am - my choice to get there early and you totally don’t need to. I sat by the river and read for a... read complete review

So today, just under 11 months after my wife sent my petition to USCIS I had my interview at Nine Elms. As instructed I arrived half an hour prior to my 10:30 appointment, checked in with the lady outside security and was told that once I had cleared security I should ignore the line of people and go straight to the desk. Once at the desk I had loads of stickers stuck to my appointment letter and was directed to the first floor and told to turn left through the main area and follow the signs to windows 20-21. On arrival there were 3 people waiting, so I took a seat.
After about 5 minutes I was called to the window, I was asked if I had had my medical, asked if I had ever held a US visa or green card, and then I handed over my passport, photographs, my original birth certificate, original marriage certificate, decree absolute, military discharge certificate and police certificate, I was fingerprinted and then told to take a seat again.
About 10 minutes late... read complete review

Was a pretty straight forward and easy interview! They only asked a few questions because my fiancé was over prepared and had all of the proper documentation which made things easier for them. He was in and out of the interview in about 30 minutes. We were told that we were approved pending his medical results (which had not arrived yet from Knightsbridge doctors despite our appointment being 5 business days after the medical). So just keep that in mind when you book your interview in London. I would suggest giving 7-8 business days in between the interview and the medical!

Very smooth and straightforward process at the embassy.
I arrived at 9.50 my interview was at 10.30, I looked for the red tent located at the south entry point, there was a small que so I got in line. Once at the front I handed my passport over with my DS160 and then was directed inside to go through security like at the airport. Then I headed over to the main building where I lined up again and once inside I handed over the same documents, passport and DS160. I was then given a sticker this showed what number I was and what booths to sit on front of. I was then directed up the lift to level 1 and told to follow the immigrant arrow. Found my booth and sat down... once my ticket was called I approached the booth and handed over my documents in this order:
Passport
Birth certificate
Police certificate
Passport photos
Adviate of support
Then they took my finger prints and I was handed my chest X-ray and told to take a seat and wait aga... read complete review

The entire interview process was over in less than 30 minutes. I arrived at the embassy at 10.15 for my 11.00 appointment and they let me straight through. Passed through security and through to the first desk within issues. The directions given were simple and i went to the immigrant interview section with no issue. There was just one other applicant there when I arrived. At the first window i handed the requested documents. I had way more than required, but that was mainly for my own piece of mind. I was approved at the second window after three or four questions! I was out by 10.45. Everyone i spoke to inside and outside of the embassy was lovely.
