I move from Ras Al Khaimah going to ABDB last January 09, 2012 and check-in to the nearest hotel for my interview. And wake up the next day at 3:00 am (January 10, 2012) for my big day (Interview) so I can prepare myself and talk to my hubby for a little while.

At 7:20 am a security guard check our appointment letters because that time not less than 20 people are waiting for their interview mostly are arab’s bec. I’m the only filipina that time.

And exactly at 7:45 am another security check our appointment letter this time with our passport and directed to fall-in line under NON-IMMIGRANT lane. And at exactly 8:00 am the security, instruct us on the entrance door of the building (take note its not the USEM building yet it’s a separate room for Security purposes only) so they have baggage scanner and some secur... read complete review

My husband had his interview today at the Abu Dhabi US embassy. We originally filed for Islamabad but due to work he moved to Abu Dhabi so we filed his DS-230 from there and he changed the embassy to Abu Dhabi.

I don't have very many details about initial screening and all that because I was given some brief details by him since I am in the US. He said he was interviewed by two people. The second person who interviewed him asked him the same questions but my husband's answers re-assured him that it was a minor detail and nothing big enough to hault the application. The interviewer then stated that there was a new rule where any pictures or video or any media sent by CD or anything of the sort was no longer allowed to... read complete review
