Interview finally after 3 months of Admin. Review, no reason given. The interview was brief and female officer was friendly. Asked how many times did I visit Marina, How did we meet, asked daughter about what she thought about me, her school, looked at a few pictures, asked where Marina studied english, asked some general info about both of our relatives, and lasted a total of about 10 minutes.

Five stars to the embassy in Paris!..
IV appointments start at 1 pm, but the guards will let you in if you are a little early - so no need to que in the cold (or rain). If you brought food/drink/any electronic equipment with you - it will be checked in and you can have it back on your way out.
I got inside a waiting room and took a ticket (my place in virtual line, I was first). I was called to the windows three times:
1 - turn in my ticket number and appointment letter.
2 - hand in one by one all the documents listed in packet four. I was also asked to show my French residency card - Titre de Sejour. The lady was French and very nice and thorough. She seemed to be surprised that I had everything right. laughing.gif I was also asked if I or my husband have children and if we had previous marriages.
3 - interview with consul. I was asked 5 questions: How long have you been married? How long have you known each other? How did you meet? What is you profe... read complete review

Elena was approved for her visa! The CO was a nice women. Interview was conducted in english. CO asked Elena:

1) How did you and Ken meet?
2)Did you know about his previous marriage and ok with his divorce?
3)Does he have any children?
4)Do you have any children?

and thats it. The CO was impressed with the 'relationship book' I put together. She told Elena you are approved and you will get your visa in about a week.

Elena said there were 17 or 18 other ladies there in the waiting room with her and as far as she could tell all of them were approved.

As a side note. Elena was unsuccessful in getting DHL to hold her package there in Moscow for pickup. She went to the main office and requested they hold the package and was told that they pick up packages from the embassy at night and within 2 or 3 hours these packages are sorted and sent out for delivery. So unless she could be there during that 2 or 3... read complete review

Well where to start.
The interview.
Evgeniya got to the Embassy at 7:3 am, and was the first there. At 8am they went ahead and proceeded in.She was searched and was ushered in for the interview a couple of hours later. She was interviewed by a lady who was very plesant. She spoke to her in Russian, Evgeniya answered in English which the interiewer commented about and was happy with.
She was asked the following questions.
1. Where did we meet? Evgeniya went into detail about our meeting in St.John and the pictures, as well as working together in Maryland.
2.What did she like about me? That I hope took her a long time to answer. She did show her a scrap book that I had put together of our trip to London with pictures and souveniers. The interviewer took this and showed it to the rest of the staff at the embassy. She seemed very impresed with the effort we have so far put into the relationship.
3.How often do we communicate? Here Jane provided the... read complete review
