Review Topic: K1 Visa

We woke up at 3 in the morning adn got there like at 430 in the morning we were the first ones there thank god cause that line became long as hell lol. when we got in it went pretty smooth we forgot to pay a couple fees so my fiance had to go pay a couple things. the longest thing was waiting for the interview. When it was time for the interview we got so nervous we both hugged and did a little prayer together. She basically asked me all the questions. Where did we meet, how did we meet, where did he propose, have i meet his family, and asked for our evidence. She then said congratulations you have been approved we both hugged and cried she handed us the green paper and we went to domex.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

We arrived at the consulate at 4AM and were literally the first ones online. Our interview was at 6:45 AM. At around 10 to 7 the guys with the info shirts came out and handed out numbered tickets. Our ticket was 174. They started letting us in like 5 people at a time. Once inside since we were the first ones in we were told for resident visas to sit at the far end of the room by the Domex desk. They started calling all tourist visas first and it kind of started to piss me off since it defeats the purpose of an appointment. I even asked and they said they assign appointments to keep order outside but once inside they are basically irrelevant. Well at around 8 we were called to window 15 where my wife was finger printed and her banco popular receipt. Then we were told to go and wait again. A few minutes later we were called to window 22. At this point I was becoming nervous. When we got to the window the gentlemen at the window asked for my passport. He then asked my wife to sign her nam... read complete review

Our interview was at 6:45 AM. We arrived at 4 AM and were literally first on line. At about 6:45 the consulate info people came out and started exchanging numbered tickets for interview letters. We received #174. Once we got inside we waited about 30 min and were called to window 15 I believe for finger prints. Then again the waiting game for about another 40 min. Finally they called us to window 22. I noticed we had been the second ones to be called to this window. We were sworn to tell the truth and asked for my passport. Then the following questions were asked:

To me:
How many people attended our wedding?

To each one of my daughters:
Who was their mother?
How old they were?

To my wife?
What was my mother's name?
How many siblings do I have?
What is my brothers name?
Has she ever traveled?

As soon as he asked me my question I saw the green ticket. While he was asking m... read complete review
