We arrived at the consulate at about 4:45am. The buscones were all over the place trying to tell people that interviews set for 7am had to make a line on the other side of the street and all documents needed to be stapled or you would be denied. I was telling people not to listen to them that they just looking for a way to take their money and that it's not true about making a line on the other side. There was like 10 people in front of us. We got lucky #022. I was STARVING so I told my hubby to sit near the cafeteria cuz as soon as it opened he was going to buy me food.
At about 8:15 we were called to window 26. The lady asked for my hubby name and he told her. She reaches down and puts a humungus folder in front of her. I told my hubby that it was the package of proof I provided with my response to the NOIR letter. My hubby said "el diache!!!!" and I said...well they wanted proof, I sent them proof. The folder also had all inquiries I had made and the ones my congressman made ... read complete review

I really thought this was going to be a harder process. Aside from waking up at 3am that day. Everything else was easy. We were a little nervous at first. When you get there people please don't pay attention to any one. I saw so many people going to places they were not suppose to because of the buscones. Just make the line and stay there. We got there at 4:45 and went in a 6:30. they called us a 7:30 for the papers and at 8:45 for the fingerprints. By the way we saw the green paper they give you once your visado ( they tried to hide it but we saw it). At that point i was exited. We were called at about 9:30 for the interview and all they asked me was where we meet and where I work at. That was it. Also he saw like 5 pictures and that's it( we have about 150 pictures javascript:emoticon('') ) then he said SU VISA ESTA APPROVADA. It was fast and easy. Don't get nervous over there that's all. If you have any questions let me know. I'll be happy to help.

Hello Everybody. Just wanted to let everyone know that we were approved today. I must say that the experience was a lot easier than we expected. I'll try and make this review as informative as possible.

We arrived the day before to the capital and stayed at a relative's house. Before leaving to the capital we met with an immigration specialist in my home town and he reviewed our paperwork and drilled us as if it were at an actual interview. I must say that was very helpful. A few details we hadn't bothered to remember he made sure we had in the back of our minds.

Our interview was for 7:45am. We arrived at 6:30am and by that time there were at least 100 people in front of us. If you are too early for your appointment they will not give you a number ticket that gets you inside. We saw people that were turned away and told to come back and make the line all over again. The buscones were across the street offering services such as holding your cell phone, a... read complete review
