Okay here i go !!!
So i arrived in DR 10 pm on thursday night , to wake up friday at 2 am, we headed out to the capital in our personal car the drive from santiago was ok until we got to the capital !!!
Ughhh!!!! We were stopped by some police offiers ten minutes from the consulate and to get them off our backs we gave them 3,000 pesos and they left us alone !!! Ok so when we get to te consulate it was 4:15 am so there was a few people there so we were ok .
I really thought it was a fancy place but uhmmmmm it was soooo rachhheettt !!! But we waited , so we just waited and waited and waited till we saw the sun lol
So they started letting people in by 7:15 am and we were lucky number 011. So by the time i reached the entrance line i noticed i had a friggin USB ughhh so i had no choice but to pretend something fell and leave the USB , thank gosh it was empty lol !!! If not they woudve made me make the line all over again and my hubby was a... read complete review

Since i just started a new job, I only had was allowed a day off. I arrived at Sto Dgo at almost 4AM, my fiance pocked me up & we went straight to the consulate. We arrived 15 minutes before 5AM. There were already abt 20 people in line. We here inside around 6;30AM we lefted te consulate before 10AM. We spend more time waiting to be called to the three separte windows than the time we spent at the windows. The interviews lasted abt 5 minutes, we were never separted. I wasn't ask for no documents at ALL, i was very suprised since at the time when i submit the petition i was on unemployment. I was asked in english & he was asked in spanish. The only question we were asked the same was when we started our relationship. He was asked who propose when & where and if he had family in the states. I was asked where we met how old we were at the time and if your families knew each other. Then the magic word, FELICIDADES SU VISA HA SIDO APROVADA!

We got to the embassy at 3:15ish in the morning the first ones in line. We waited outside until about 6:30-7am (our interview was at 7:45...) once we got in we waited about 2 hours before our number was called (002) we went to window 16 the lady asked my husband
1. If we are married.
2. if he had kids.
She asked me:
1. If this is my first marriage
2. If i had any kids
Then we went to window 15 as instructed by the woman, he got his fingers scanned.
Then we went back to sit, for another 2-3 hours once they called us again we got all excited. We went to window 24 and the man made us swear to tell the truth, once that was over he told me that i could leave and sit in the waiting area and to leave all evidence that we had with him.
The man didn't ask me anything.
The man asked him:
1. how long have we been together.
2. how many times has your wife c... read complete review

All went well was very relieved to be done. Started out leaving bout 515am from her sisters apartment and got about half way and she noticed she forgot the ring she wanted to turn around and go back i told her it would be ok but she felt so bad so we turned around and went back and got the ring. Got into the city bout 6am was at a stop light on maximo gomez and noticed a policia on my right i was talking with claudia so she didn't see him but he made eye contact with me.So the light turns green and i immediately have the buscones in my lane trying to park us so i try and go around them safely then there is another bunch of them go around them to only to pass the embassy so i try to turn and work my way back around only to be pulled over by the police. He said i was driving wrecklessly and was going to write me a ticket took my license and kept threatening to write a ticket. Claudia was trying to explain to what happened he didn't want to listen so she said let me call my brother and he... read complete review
