My Fiance went to the consulate without me. They sent her back home to bring her kids (2 and 8) to the interview which is strange because the website and call center both said kids under 14 do not need to attend.
Anyway, She says the actual interview was 2 questions. "Do you love him?" and "Do you think you will get divorced?" . The only papers the interviewer requested was her passport and pictures of us together (which we made a $20 photo album showing about 50 pictures of us together at different dates throughout our 1.5yrs together. After these few questions/request she was told that her and her 2 kids were approved.
She was there 4 hours but says 3.5 hours of that was only sitting and waitin

The 129F was supposed to administratively close. It did not. It moved on to Santo Domingo. I received a letter requesting I make an appointment for interview. I did. Purchased my flight and asked if there was any way I could have the 129F interview serve as the I130 interview and wait for the paperwork to arrive so my husband could come on the spouse visa. Santo Domingo expedited the I130 in 48 hours.

Our interview was scheduled for 7am. We arrived at the new consulate at 6:45am. Waited online for about 15 minutes. Went through security check (no cell phones, etc. etc.) Entered into the waiting room for resident visas. Our number was 177. They were up to 118.

At about 8am (45 minutes) - we were called to window 15. The lady was very nice - and RUSHING. It was as if she had to ... read complete review
