ARRIVED PARKED ABOUT 2 BLOCKS AWAY IN SECURE PARKING LOT YOU MUST PAY FOR IT IS NOT FREE. PARKING IS BEFORE EMBASSY COMPOUND IF YOU PASS THE COMPOUND YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR WALKED OVER TO CONSULATE NO SPECIFIC LINE LABELED HAD TO ASK SECURITY THEN WAS PLACED IN LINE. NO LONG WAIT ABOUT 15 MINUTES ONCE CALLED IN HAD TO DO SCREENING PRIOR TO ENTERING COMPOUND AT FIRST IT LOOKED LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL WAY LIKE IN THE OLD CONSULATE WERE YOU HAD TO SIT OUTSIDE BUT WHAT A SURPRISE THE WAITING AREA IS ACTUALLY A BUILDING WITH AC WENT TO COUNTER AND WAS GIVEN A NUMBER AFTER PRESENTING APPOINTMENT LETTER AFTER RECEIVING A NUMBER WE WAITED WE WERE CALLED UP 1 HOUR & 1 /2 LATER FOR DOCUMENTS THAT WERE NEEDED TO BE GIVEN IN FOR INTERVIEW BIOMETRICS PICS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND WORLDWIDE COMPUTER GLITCH CAUSED FINGERPRINTS NOT TO BE AVAILABLE AND POSSIBLE RESCHEDULING IF SYSTEM COULD'NT COME BACK UP AND RUNNING. I just want to say that this process from start to finish has been quit painless. Our interview was today and he had to go alone as i could not take time off of work. I was worried that this would hinder our chances along with the age gap as i am older than he is by almost 11 years. He went in with everything and they asked him only his information and why i could not attend. They looked at the photos which where just screen shots of video chats on messenger and tattoos we had gotten of each others names. The gentleman said "oh, you have a tattoo of her name and she has one of yours" my fiance said yes and the guy said congratulations your approved. I would also like to state that i provided pics and copies of receipts from western union and babblebug. Many people have said that his is a bad thing but this was never mentioned in my case or looked at as a negative. Thanks and good luck to all!

to all that are reading this, I recommend everyone to follow the guide provided here on VisaJourney, and to use Whatsapp messenger as to you can print out all your chat logs and submit it for evidence.
We had every thing describe on the guide, and more just in case receipts and photos are all so useful,
REMEMBER A PHOTO SPELL OUT A THOUSAND WORDS...
remember where u have taken them and with who was in the picture.,
REMEMBER THE NAME OF PEOPLE AND PLACES
OVERALL SATISFIED OF MY FIRST K1 VISA AND GOD PERMITS THE ONLY ONE.
