We got there at 6am. Our appointment was for 8am. We showed the email with our appointment confirmation on it and we were put in a line that said resident visas and waited. They let the people with 7am appointments go first, and once they were done, they let us go. We went through a metal detector and Gabby had something in his wallet that set off the machine. They let him leave the embassy and throw it away and reenter. We went through the courtyard to the next building and were given a number. We waited for about 40 minutes until our number was called and they asked for our police report, medical exam results, and birth certificate. They told us that there was a problem with the DS-160 and we had to go to another section of the building with computers to fix it, and we needed our NVC number and case number to do this. For some reason, the computers weren't working, and we had to leave the embassy, go to a nearby plaza, and go to the embassy help office there. They couldn't access our... read complete review

Our interview was on July 22nd 2017, and was scheduled at 10:00 AM. We arrived at the embassy at around 8:55 AM. We found parking at the intersection of Ave. Republica de Colombia and Ave. Jacobo Majluta Azar. They charged us $250 pesos (which is about 5 Dollars). We left our cellphones hidden inside the car as you cannot come in the embassy with electronics. Try to carry only the neccesary paperwork with you.
We walked towards the embassy and there we ran into the so called "buscones"(people who will tell you that you need certain things before going in the embassy, for example, that your passport pictures need to be stapled to the DS260)which is a lie.
We reached the embassy at 9:00 AM and there was a huge line(for non immigrant visas luckily). They directed us to a very short line for immigrant visa interviews where they checked our p4 letter and told us to go inside. We went through security and then to the building where they do the actual interviews. An Embassy emp... read complete review

Interview date 7/25/17: We arrived very early in the morning (around 6, I think?) for our 7:00 "appointment." There were hundreds of other people already there; There were several lines, and security was there directing people to the correct lines. We waited maybe 15 minutes for the lines to actually open and start moving; Then moved to another line that took 15 to 20 minutes to get up to the security checkpoint; Then we were able to go inside to the building where they actually conduct the interviews; We waited for our number to be called for them to review that we had the correct paperwork, and then we were given another number to go wait some more. I think we were called up just before 9am, the officer was a young man, very friendly, spoke spanish and english interchangeably between my fiance and I. It took about 5 minutes, he only asked a couple of basic questions (where my fiance will live when he comes to the US, when is the last time I was here to visit him, what are ou... read complete review
