our interview was on February 23rd 7am
I the petitioner arrived 2 days prior to the interview to the Dom Rep. to make sure all paper work was perfect and final.
well it results that my fiance was unable to obtain his good conduct police certificate due to computer problems. we decided to go to the interview without it and explain the situation.
We live in the capital about 45 min away from the consulate. Our interview was at 7am so we decided to wake up at 4 to take showers and get ready and left the house at about 5 Am. We got to the consulate around 5:45-5:50 Am we parked the car for about 200 pesos this you pay once you officially leave the lot. the consulate is about 5 min away from the lot. There were many Buscones one came up to us and offered to help and asked us if we were sure we had all the papers we needed. Interview went by like a breeze, he only asked 5 questions and asked for pics, asked if he knew where i worked, my sons name, how we met, how he proposed, and if he knew his rights if he became a victim of domestic violence lol. It was easy,
Dont break your heads if you have to go to Santo Domingo for your interview, all the time you stand in a booth, they only see you from your chest up, so go comfortable if youd like.
