Ok so after missing my flight on the 12th and having to return to the airport on the 13th Mother's Day! I finally arrived in santiago at 11:30 on sunday! My baby bought me a gift and wished me a Happy Mother's day and we left things home and went to go eat out. We took things easy and didnt asked ourselves any questions in reference to the interview. Decided to relax that day. Went to be at 9pm that night, we got up at 2am to get ready and were on our way to the consulate by 3:30am. On the way there we got pulled over by cops that stated that my hubby's car registration had expired and that he could not be driving I panicked!! After my hubby explained our situation and had to pay!!..1000 pesos they let him go us go on our way....we arrived at the consul by 5am in which the line had already formed. At about 6:20am a young began checking paperwork and asigning numbers. We were number 63. We got in and sat down on those metal benches by 7am. At roung 7:30am we were called to window number... read complete review

We arrived at approximately 5:30am, got in line and laughed at the buscones trying to confuse people. At about 6:30am we were inside with lucky #136. Why did we go to sleep late at midnight...now we are dead tired. About an hour after being inside we get called to turn in hubby's docs and get his fingerprints. Hubby decided to get breakfast about 30 mins after. While he got breakfast I looked around and saw people with albums and packets of documents, thougt to myself well I am not the only one ready to proof myself to these people. So my gordo and I had breakfast and continued to wait. It got to a point that they were calling all numbers around or close to ours but not 136. After about 2 1/2 hours of waiting (hubby and I were just already tired and running out of patience). Hubby tells me "Toy jartoooo...vamonos"...I was like wth? Como que vamonos...and I hear 136 casilla #24. He goes vamonos que nos toca, he had seen the # a it dropped into the screen before they called it thru the s... read complete review

Review Topic: I-1 Visa

We stayed at the Jardines del Teatro the night before. It was only a couple of blocks from embassy. We arrived at the embassy at 5:30 am and there were already about 75 people in line. At around 5:55 we got the blue letter stapled with the number 282 then at 6:10 they separated men from women and started letting us in thru security. Saw those infamous metal benches and just laughed(but wasn't laughing after 4 hrs...my butt as numb. At 7:15 we were called to window 15 and we handed in documents. Somehow I left DS 156k and we had to fill out another and Marc had to retake one passport photo because one that he gave was too dark. Then he had to go to Banc Popular because he had a receipt for PIN and not visa processing fee. He got the photo taken in the embassy and then went to bank and came back and gave to CO at around 8:30. We we waited til 1030 for our number to be called to go to window 13 to get fingerprinted. Then they called again to pay visa fee of $80 at window 12. Then... read complete review
