We got our NOA2 on July 24th,we called NVC twice a week but they don't have our files yet. This is so frustrating to have seen people getting their case numbers in less than 2 weeks...

It must be very frustrating to see this:

"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 18, 2013 and January 25, 2013* (RFEs at the Vermont Service Center typically add an extra 30 days, which has been added to the estimated processing time). "

And to still see it as we approach April.

Thanks for your response to my query about being unemployed. Getting the employer to write a note stating the nature which will always be temporary/contract is certainly less than ideal, but that's the way the world works with my skills.

Time will tell.
