We didn't had any morgage or utility bills with my name on it, and had no problems. Sure, we had a RFE, but I send in the past 2 or 3 years of Tax return/transcripts, and then copies of our joint checking and saving accounts (+copy of baby ultrasound and copies of bills adressed to to each of us, showing the same adress). Got approved in no time after that.
-
I photocopy one of my ultrasound pics of the baby and send it to them with all the other things. have you thought about that?
-
they will take your fingerprints and take your pic, and if they don't like it they will say that they will probably get refused, but send you home. if so, you will get a letter a few weeks later that the FBI refused your prints and give you a new appointment in the same letter. but it will for sure not happen the next day.

hahaha... USCIS is so funny, just got an email saying "Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity" got approved a few weeks back... with AOS I got an email over a year after I got approved that it's under review.
-
got the letter 3 weeks after the first bio, and had it 3 weeks later... the guy told me in case they get rejected again to go to the police where i live and get a report of the past 2 years.

CSC really likes RFE
-
yeah i know..but did u see the changed the look of the card...?
think it's really nice, it's actually green... my husband said I look like a ghost in the pic. also got another email from USCIS saying that they got the information from USPS that the card was delivered, funny that the email got to me 2 days later.
-
the card was in the mail today... not that happy about the pic, but it's better then the last one

No worries.
It seems that CSC filers gets approved quicker than VSC is. Well, it's always been that way anyway. CSC is faster to approve cases so who knows maybe you'll get yours too, soon.
in 2008 it was way different, when we filed for K1... the VSC were done married as soon as 4 months after sending the petition, and CSC took 5 or even 6 months just to look at the petition. So it has not always been like that.

Congrats G00b3r !! Updating approval (BTW, when did you respond to your RFE?)
sent it 7/26, got there the 28th... now waiting for the card to reach me
-
"On August 4, 2011, we ordered production of your new card."
Yay!!! All the worries for nothing... so happy
-
thank you... now I will at least sleep ok tonight... worried sick the past few hours
-
If you have the receipt where it says it was received, you are good. Just wait till they review your package. I am sure you did mention "In Response to RFE" on the package according to USCIS guidelines.
Good luck.
nope, didn't do that... it only said to put the blue letter on top of everything in the package... *worry even more*

So I send my RFE back last week, and it was signed for. That made me really happy, because I was worried that it might get lost with all the paperwork in it. Online it doesn't show any touches since April when I got the NOA, and I know that since then they took it under review (due to ending up with the RFE). But now I worry that they might didn't get it to the right place, to the rest of my papers that I sent back in April. Did anyone ever call to make sure it got where it belongs, or should I just chill and wait it out? I'm just scared, since they gave me until the 17th of August to send it back, and right now I could send it all again, if I knew that it didn't arrive at the right desk. Sorry, thinking to much, and specially worrying myself crazy.
-
wouldn't they send a RFE before denying her?
-
we were thinking about it..there is no rush though..it we can save another 700$ by next year maybe are you?!
I guess I'm going to wait a few years.
-
well i finally received my 10 year GC yesterday(28th ) and i guess im done for a while..
are you going to file for citizenship?
-
i think as long as they get the RFE,thats all that matters..hope everything goes fast..
thank you the support and help here really helps big time!!
-
we bought a big yellow envelope and we sent it at the address shown on the little envelope they sent us with the letter, and i wrote under the address ATTN:RFE
well, saw that to late, just send it with signature confirmation.... send it to the address that was in the letter, it said to send it to the address at the bottom of the page. didn't write anything like attn:RFE... oh well, feel like
-
did you write anything on the envelope, like rfe reply, or just the normal address like it says on the letter?
-
Congrats MichaelOlesea!!!
Guess I'm going to send my RFE back tomorrow... well I hope. Finally got the tax transcripts in the mail, and my husband gave me some bank statements, but since he isn't in the mood to look for some from last year and the year before, I will open some of the letters that he has stored in a closet. Wish he would have told me that before, so I could have done that a week or two ago.
-
complitly normal... get used to the feeling that they don't love you, the first touch takes a few month

Hello
Please go to https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/start.do
this is an IRS link to order your tax transcripts for free
I did that while preparing my package and I got them within 4-5 days in the mail
Good Luck
thank you so so much! Just did it, ordered all 3 tax returns from the past 3 years, so we can send it all in, and they won't complain anymore... thank you everyone!!!!!!!

Did you send Tax transcripts for 2009-2010?
You can easily get tax transcripts for 2010-2011 by calling 1-800-829-0922. It's free and they usually arrive within 10 days.
called that number, and the only 2 options they gave me were to find out informations if you got a notice from them, or to find out the latest update about your refund.... that was it...
