Hi Chii, Yes, we've went through the process and have completed the biometrics again. I've talked to a couple of people and they are extending the 2 years for one year while waiting on the biometrics. So basically, we're just waiting on the actual 10 year card. There is nothing else to do, unless he decides to apply for citizenship. Everything is going well. He's had a steady job since a month after he got here with no lapses and he is loving it. We have not went back home yet...

OK.....so my husbands flight from Lagos should have taken off by now......He is in for a long flight.....I know from experience it is not the best flight....smiles....in just 10 hours I will be meeting him at JFK....with the kids to rush him.....lol

Well...Niether yes or no, yet. They asked him for contact information from some neighbors in Ghana and one in Lagos. They asked him to schedule a date for our daughter's mom to come in and have the paper notarized to allow her to immigrate with my husband, and so they can ask her some questions.

One week left. Medicals complete, just waiting for the results and praying they won't need additional tests.

It seems to be a windfall of beautiful things to come for April 15th! Everyone is scheduled for stuff on the same day! I'm so excited! BTW, my phone is screwed! I've only got 15 more days on this contract, so I'm waiting it out so I don't have to pay for a new phone. I'm missing you and praying for you!

OMG I miss you all, but I have like 2 minutes before I have to go around and pick the entire crew up to head home once again. I finally got to clean my house after four months of running this past Saturday! Talk about a mess. I almost opted to burn it down and start all over! LOL, praying all of my friends are well and adjusting nicely. I'm missing you all and hope to be more settled soon. I made myself wait a few days and then called the NVC this morning. Chinedu and our daughter's interviews have been scheduled for April 15. I am feeling thankful and ecstatic right now!!!

My hubby was so big on the gym when he lived in Nigeria...but when I mention joining one here, he acts as if he is opposed to me working out? Can anyone tell me why?

I sent my Husband a package with our Documents, weiht 18.6 pounds to Nigeria through EMS on 02/21/2013. I tracked it today on NIPOST website and I called the number to confirm. I called Hubby and told him to go pick it up NOW!!!...he has to still pay $55 USD to pick up after it cost $150 USD to send.

The boys went for their medicals yesterday and were turned away because they didn't bring their passports. Did I miss that somehow? I thought just interview letter and passport pics were required. sigh. Oh well. They are back there as we speak. Will have to go back again on Monday I guess.

Shouldn't car insurance go down when you get married and have no addicents or tickets every year. I knew Progressive was too good to be true. They raise their rates $75.00 every six months. Time to look for another policy! Any suggestions FB fam?

That's probably what is going to happen to us also. That will drive Diving mad! Insurance is mandatory here in Alabama too and my car is also financed which means full coverage for my car and liability for any car we pick up for him. We're saving, so hopefully it will all come together soon. First, he has to "learn" to drive.
