Hi All! I am married! Whooohoooo!!!! Divine and I have een seeing each other for two years. I went to Lagos last year and we were engaged...this year during my visit we married. It has already been a long journey. I've filed the I-130 and have received the NOA1. I also filed the I-129F, per instructions on the USCIS website in order to use the petition for a K3 visa. However, everything I am now reading says Nigeria has ditched the K3 and is using the IR-1/CR-1 Visa.

What kind of visa are you referring too? A visitors visa? If Divine chooses to apply for a visitors visa, it is almost certain he will be denied. The best course of action for the both of you is to wait out the process of receiving the relative visa. Also, did you already send out the I-129f? The k3 visa is no longer in existance...if you did please update your timeline because it is not reflecting on it. This way when you ask questions people can answer your questions mo...
