My wife is citizen .. i married her in pak and now entered on my own B2 . i want to file for for AOS . While filling form i 485.. i could not understand what should i write in my Alien Number and current USCIS Status on page 1? can any body help me?

i entered with B2, got an H1B and married a USC. I never had an A #. I left that section blank in applying for the 3: I-130, I-485 & I-765. When I got my NOA (notice of action), it was then that I was assigned an A#. I hope this helps.

got approved dec. 8 - was made to redo biometrics on dec. 13. was called by my IO last feb. 23 since my data has not been updated. it was found out that they mixed up my 1-765 # & my 1-485 #. Up to now, I still do not have my green card at hand. was given a letter though that my case was already approved!

after biometrics, my 1-765 became trackable online and a few days later the I-130 was also seen online. Until now, my I-485 is still invisible. I called up last week and was transferred to an officer inquiring the validity of my receipt #, and was told that the # was good in their system. it's been around 7 months since the # was assigned but still i can't check it on line. hope this helps.
