      It seems that they stopped lying to people by saying that it will take "7 to 10 days". MY fiance was told it will take "a month, maybe less". I, too, was surprised but I am guessing they take extra time for AP.

      you guys will probably receive an interview date in about a week or two, so expect a late august or early September date (my prediction lol)

      ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I just got off phone with DOS... packet 4 updated today!!!!! Aug 3 interview! It's coming soon! How is he supposed to pay for visa though? What is the whole post office thing? Im scared bc I feel the letter will come right before interview.

    Great to hear!! How do they schedule the interview, mail or online? I wonder why so long, but June would be better than average :)

    I wanted to ask you, if the police certificate was just obtained by going into his city station and asking for it to be sent to embassy? and how long did it take? And same thing with army records.

    BTW what city is your fiance in?
