I passed my interview last January 9, 2016 at Philadelphia USCIS office. The experience was very nice.
I arrived at the place around 11:20AM, was waiting for the interview by 11:40AM, promptly called before Noon and out by 12:10 NN. It took less than 15 mins for the interview.
First the interviewer asked me the 5 civic questions, had me read, had me write. Then asked me about things on my applications. The Yes/NO questions and then had me sign the form.
She then informed me that I did excellent and I passed and will be schedule for oath taking. Asked me where I prefer to take the oath, at my county or in their office and thinking that there are more Oath Taking schedules in their office, I'd rather prefer it there.
Just got my online notification for my Oath today and it will be on February 3.

So I finally got an interview on January 9, 2017. I was expecting it to be this month but I am so happy that it's moving. I was patiently waiting, not calling USCIS or asking representative office to inquire on my behalf. I have an IOE case, so I was like, if nothing happened this month, I was just about to do those things and then I saw online last Friday that I am scheduled for interview and saw the pdf online tonight. No letter in the mail yet but I already downloaded the online pdf.

Hi, everyone. I have a question... If I am filing for ROC with divorce waiver how would my firnds sworn look like? Should it states that we lived happilly together but got divorced because of this and that? or ??
I never include any in mine coz they said it has small bearing with ROC, USCIS is more particular with financial co-mingling.... I was approved just recently without interview and no RFE. Note: I applied with death waiver.

You have been a resident since your first green card was approved, but this new card is valid for 10 years starting from its approval date.

I got my card today! I got approved 07-15-2013 and the expiry is 07-15-2023, thus 10 years. Is this right?
I thought they will use the original date of the conditional permanent card which is for me is 08-16-2011, I was expecting an expiry of 08-16-2021.

Quick question: How long will it take to get the cards? Will it take the full 30 days?
They usually mail it 2 days after card production and you will receive approx. 3 days after that... (this was the case of my AOS card before)... so hoping I will receive mine today or tomorrow.

My cousins wants to get a tourist visa here in the U.S. Their mom is a flight stewardess, financially capable but would the kids can apply on their on? Or does it have to be their mom to apply and they will be derivative? Any suggestions?

They have to apply separately... the 20 years old will have less chance of approval though since he/she is not a minor, thus has to gather supporting documents on his/her own merit... the minor child supporting docs is same that of its parents.

No my example is the rules of filing an I-130 as a green card holder. Read the instructions on who can file an I-130.
he can... but not right away... there is an "unless" (5A) he is permanent residence for more than 5 years (5B) the marriage that granted his immigrant status was not entered into for the provision of evading any provision of immigration law.

Its likely the OP cannot file for a new wife because of the situation. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-130instr.pdf OP does not seem to be able to pass the " who cannot file this " in the instructions.
your example is both filipinos... any filipino who will divorce (initiate divorce) overseas, the divorce will not be recognized in the Philippines... however if the marriage in the Philippines or in any other country is between a filipino and a USC (or any other foreign national), and if the USC will (or any other national) initiates the divorce... the divorce will be acknowledge in the proper court in the Philippines... the key words are "the USC (or any other national) spouse must be the one who will initiate the divorce, and not the filipino.

to your other question... if your USC wife will file the divorce, you can remarry and petition someone... just make sure the its the USC who will file for the divorce coz if it's you... the Filipino citizen, then you can't remarry... just make sure that you will submit the divorce proceedings to the proper court in the Philippines to recognize your divorce...

USCIS local office in Philly is actually pretty conveniently located (if you do ever get an interview).
If anything, jump on a train or EL and then walk to it.
It's not in the same place as your fingerprint appointment took place.

You need an NBI clearance... more so than the police clearance... and u must put your maiden name in "other name used"
you should advice your husband that US lawyer tends to "know" the general requirements but they do not know the specific requirements for each country US embassy... My husband had a lawyer when we were filing too, and after we got NOA2, I was given a lit of requirements for tourist visa... and I have to email the lawyer that she had it wrong and gave her the list that was found in the Manila US embassy for K-1 visa.
The lawyer was paid until AOS, and yet I did everything... all she did was have me signed the form that she was representing me, she even copied the cover letter that I made...

My wife Louchie Ann Schmidt met you at St Lukes Extension on March 26th and 27th while you were doing your medical for your K1.. My wife first met you while you were waiting for your physical examination. My wife even told you that she was nervous because she had to be naked during the examination in front of the doctor. The only information she got from you is that you resigned your job just for your fiance. You even gave her a hug on the 27th as you saw her.

filipinas do...
i had an experience when I was still in the Philippines using my smartbro... i click it 3 times i think... then i saw my duplicate posts... i just deleted the other two... some is not aware that they did so... so they just let it be, or they do not know that they can delete their own post. -
I do not think its related to visajourney site... its with the computer/internet connection of the one who is writing the review... the reviewer clicked the submit button several times thinking that it did not went through... thus, the duplicate post.

Field Office: Your Local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview
