I did not get DS_3025 because I think it was complete just they sealed that and I gave that to Montreal consulate...

I only have a copy of my vac. supplement, does it work if i put a copy in i485 package?

in uscis website in i485 instruction says: if you are a K1 fiance and had a medical in past year...you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not entire medical report...

I got this copy from Montreal, but why in VJ, some people in their check list talk about I-693 Vaccinations only,Copy DS-3025 Vaccination record ?

and second q. how many photos do I need if I apply for EAD and AP with i485?

I think she can apply for her Iranian passport as a single,if she doesn't have it.Then she can travel without any problem to Iran, and you can apply for Iranian visa as a tourist and then when you went to Iran you can submit your marriage in Iran.so I believe you can travel to see her family even before you get marry.

The Iranian woman who interviewed in Montreal was told she passed and was approved and was getting her passport with visa back in 5 days. That was back in November. She has still not yet gotten her passport. She called DOS and they told her she is in AP. She was specifically told as well but now she is stuck in AP the embassy is not telling her she is in AP but the DOS is telling her that she IS.

I am really sorry, I can understand it's difficult situation and so stressful, I think you should extend your Korean visa, I think they know that US consulate always hold the applicant passport so I think it's easy to explain to them and they can give you a letter or a document that you don't get in more trouble in Korea.

my visa is still in process and who knows when it gonna be issued, so I think you have same situation. if you read about the other people like us, you can find that some times it takes few months!!!so you have to do something that she can stay in Korea for more months. even me I am not canceling my lease, until I buy the ticket for USA. you can not trust their timing. my fiance stayed with me 3 weeks because they told us a wrong time, and then he went back to USA, because he had to be at work.

today I just called DOS, the lady said my case moved from immigrant dep. to Non-immigrant Dep.

I asked but K1visa is immigrant visa, she said yes I know but it's normal for every K1 visa.

she said in that dep. is faster.

I think it's good news, what do you think, please let me know.

My fiance is also Iranian and applied through the consulate in India. He was also placed on AP, but it only took about 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure its just for name and background checks. I kept calling DOS and they finally told me on what day his visa was issued. Got it a couple business days after. Good luck!

I have same situation but they never gave me 221g and even they did not tell me I am going through AP. now is 6 weeks I had my interview and when I call DOS, they say you are in AP!!!!

Usually Montreal prints the visas within a few days of the interview and will mail them out. If you had your interview in November - you are likely going through AP/security checks/name hit/etc. and there is no wayt to tell when they will be complete.They will mail you your visa when the process completes.

But as I read few VJeris people reviews most of them got informed that they will be in AP, at the time of interview. but in my case I just received a letter that says congratulations your visa will be ready in 3-4 days. why? my name is not a common name, even it's not Islamic name.so why they should put me in AP?

One other Iranian processing through Montreal got their visa just a few days after their interview, while my egyptian husband processing through montreal waited almost 8 months post-interview. My suggestion would be to contact the DOS to get status.
