  1. Thanks! Congratulations on your marriage!

  2. Thank-you!

    Approved!

All went very well. The actual interview lasted about 4 minutes!

  3. Hi guys - latest update is good news! NOA2 approved 22nd July. Just waiting for packet 3 now - have everything collected and good to go. How is your timeline progressing?

  4. Ha! Well yes, I think we should certainly take all the credit for that ;)

But seriously, that's terrific, best of luck with the next steps.

  5. Same with us! Very disheartening. Put in a service request on June 13, but no word still. Just really confused as to why it's not done yet, considering Igor's List indicates that VSC are onto early March filers now.

  6. Hey guys, any sign of your NOA2 yet?

  7. Congratulations!

Best of luck with the next steps!

  8. I think we'll contact her congressman again and tell him the situation.

There's really no excuse for them not to get it done in 5 months. Back when the TPS stuff was happening you could have forgiven them, but they're past that now and are onto late Feb filers.

    How about you guys?

  9. Nothing yet. Except for a weird and confusing letter from USCIS (dated June 21st), stating "your visa is being processed and should be ready within 60 days."

Didn't really understand the reference to "visa" (instead of "petition"), or why June 21st had any relevance whatsoever.

I feel like they've lost our petition and are just buying time. ...

  10. Still waiting too! I'll be kind of shocked if we're not approved today or tomrrow - I was really expecting it this week after Monday's service request.

I think we're holding it together a little better than we were a month ago. It's more bearable I suppose when you have a timeframe on things (assuming we get approved soon).

Hope you get yours soon :)

  11. Called up yesterday and it all went through! They were very pleasant like you said, just asking a few details before issuing the request. Shouldn't be too long now!

  12. Terrific!

I haven't yet but I'll get right on it - how did it go? Any tips? Did you have to persuade them at all or were they quite receptive?

    Thanks for letting me know!
