I just signed up, I have been checking and reading all the post for long time, Im a January '13 filer, came with Tourist Visa in '01 and overstay (OUT-OF STATUS) for 12 years. 5 years ago in '08 met my hubby online, living together since a few weeks after we met, in NOV '09 we got pregnant to our baby girl who was born in August '10, 4 months later we decided to get married, we did small reunion with family in Dec '11, now after 2yrs of marriage decided its time to do AOS... I hope everything go smooth!!!

Tourist Visa(out of status)- AOS

01/03/13 sent I130.I485,I765 to chicago lockbox

01/08/13 Email/txt acceptance conf.

01/10/13 checks cashed

01/11/13 got NOA1 for all 3 forms.

01/12/13 got NOA Biometrics appt letter 01/30/13

01/30/13 Biometrics done!

01/30/13 Called NCS to change of address.

02/04/13 got conf letter change of address

02/12/13 got NOA Interview appt 03/15/13 at local office.

xx/xx/13 EAD approved email/txt

xx/xx/13 EAD Card/production

xx/xx/13 EAD Mailed.

Still no ead for me BUT our interview is tomorrow :-). Happy for those who got their eads approved!

That is great with your interview being tomorrow you are still leading all Jan filers on this forum. You will probably get your GC first , which means the EAD/AP becomes useless.

Thanks for the response. I only asked because i rely completely on the email notification, now i know to check my case online daily instead of waiting for a text.

Just got text for EAD/AP "My Case Status' and I checked and it said this:

Card/ Document Production

On March 4, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I went to check our status just now (at 7am there were no updates yet) and we're getting ours soon too!

We just checked online and saw that our EAD was approved on the 28th and a card was being sent out. Also saw that our I131 was approved as well. Kind of strange we haven't heard anything about an interview yet but we'll take it.

Congratulations, but since you had the second biometrics, i would expect to see an interview notice come in 2 weeks after your second bio appointment, so sometime around this Friday . Good luck!

I registered for email updates and received one saying they had sent the card. I also got a notification saying the I-765 had been approved and that they had sent a letter out - I got that letter after I received the EAD!

Checked the status online, and found that the I-765 and I-131 status has been changed to Card/Document Production.. Happy ....

Seems most of the January filers got their interview notice. I'm still waiting on mine, hope next week or so I will receive some good news..

For all those who received their interview notice, it came exactly 2 weeks after the biometrics appointment. So you should get your within the next few days. good luck!

I filed on 30th January and just received my EAD/AP card in the mail today. That seems very fast based on what I've read on here. But happy I have it and glad I can travel internationally again!

Wow that's amazing. I remember when I filed my own Aos in 2007, I received my EAD one week after biometrics. Congratulations when is your interview?

Also, it is interesting that your EAD got approved about 30 days after biometrics.

date and time for interview, I received the letter.

You should be fine then. Like i had mentioned earlier to someone in the discussion, EAD/AP normally take up to 60 days, so with everyone here being a January filer, we should expect to see EAD/AP approval email notices starting next week.

Do you get EAD card email/letter? Its been while I get any updates for my case. hope to get that soon

Hello, fellow Jan filers! Just checked my status and my interview will be on Apr 4! That's more than a month of waiting but at least we have a date to look forward to.

Any suggestions on what to bring besides passport, marriage certificate, bank statements, photos? Should we bring the same docs we sent to them already?

Hello and congratulations on your interview notice. When you receive the paper notice, there will be a list of suggested documents to bring. And definitely bring copies of everything you submitted already.
