  1. well welcome to the club my friend :D I think most of the couple here have met each other on the net and then fell in love ;) my fiancee and I for example :) we only sent the USCIS like 12 emails with corresponding respond to each of them, boarding pass from our trips, hotel vouchers, bank transfer, and 12 pictures of us together. We've been in a relationship for almost 1 year and 3 months before we finally decide to get marry and start the whole K1 process. At first the whole thing was very stressful and information overload :P but luckily we found this site and it helped us a lot :D now my fiancee and I are going to celebrate our 2 years anniversary the same day that I will be flying to the States which will be on Feb 11 :) and we have everything set for our wedding on March 30, If you could still wait for your second trip then that would be great :) but I guess if you two already decided to start the petition now, then go ahead I guess, it's just a couple of months difference. I had my interview last Jan. 6 and most of the couple who used the K1 visa also met online ;) and none of us got denied :D you just have to provide sufficient evidence regarding your existing relationship and also your fiancee must meet the poverty guidelines :)based from my observation if you have all the necessary documents ready then there is no reason for you to be denied ;) GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! AND WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP ;)

  2.:thumbs: one thing that might prove inconvenient is if she also lost her DS-3025 vaccination record from St Lukes. it's used during AOS. it's posssible she may have to retake vaccinations if she doesn't have vaccination records.

she said that she kept that sheet at home ;) good thing she didn't have it with her during that time or else it will be a big inconvenience on her part. Thank you :)

  3. she passed her medical exam at St. Lukes with flying colors so I don't think she has any problems with her chest xray. I guess I'll just tell her to not worry about it and just go on with her flight with out that cd :) thank you so much for answering :)

  4. The medical center gives the x-ray to visa holder as something you can give your family doctor state side.

After visa medical, you wont need it again for immigrations.

In our case the x-ray remained in it's tube never to be needed again after the visa medical.

so it's okay for her not to get a new one? cause once she enter the States with out that it won't be a problem? or is it something that can be obtain in the States again once someone ask for it? I bet my friend will be happy to know this. Thank you for the info!! You're such a big help :)

  5. My friend message me this morning and told me that she had been robbed last night and those guys took away her folder with her St. Lukes chest X-ray on it. She is really worried that she might not get a replacement for it? Is it possible to attain a new copy of it? and the mere fact that her flight is going to be on the 10 of Feb :( Is there some one out here who got through this thing? What did you do? Thank you so much and I hope to hear from all of you guys.

  6. In our case we called the NVC 2 weeks after we get the NOA2 :) then after getting your case number you can now call the USembassy to set her interview :) Don't wait for the instruction packet that your fiancee will receive before she can proceed with the medical and interview process. I never got the letter but I still pursue my medical and interview and until now that I'm already leaving for the States on Feb 11 I still never got the instruction packet coming from the embassy :P. Good luck to both of you...you're almost there ;) 2 months more or less.

  7. oh and about the age difference I don't think they would care at all :) as I've posted earlier it's like talking to a friend :) they are very friendly and accommodating :)they ask questions with a smile on their face :D so about the divorce thing...they will just ask when did he filed the divorce?, what year? does he have a kid with his previous marriage? why it didn't work? questions just like that. I suggest just wait for her to get her visa since the CFO seminar can be completed in less than 4 hrs. ;) then she will have everything that she needs when she leaves the compound :D the 2 certificates and the CFO sticker.

  8. I did my seminar at PRISM located Katipunan infront of PSBA it's run by nuns :) I got there at 1 pm and done with everything at 3;30 pm ;) I also live outside Manila but after my interview I waited for almost 13 days till I got my visa :D. Don't worry about the questions, they only ask typical questions with your fiancee like where you two met each other, what's your mother's maiden name and such...it's pretty easy so tell her to relax :) it's like talking to a friend :) this is for documentation purposes only so they could have a record if anything bad happens with your filipina fiancee out side the Philippines. She only needs to bring 3 copies of her visa, 3x passport biographic page, pen, then download the necessary form that she needs to fill out and she also needs to fill out one form too when she get there :) after that, she should pay the fees :) no need to bring pictures if you go to that place. GOOD LUCK to both of you :)

  9. i would like to thank everyone that help me and my fiancee journey from the day that i started my journey here in VJ.. i really really really really really really really really appreciate this..i really dont know what to say now but im just want to thank you yall <3 yall.

I told you she'll get approved :D Congratulations now all you have to do is wait for 13 days or less till she gets her visa ;) so close.... :D good luck to both of you!!!

  10. I don't know if it's a good sign but it really sucks to wait there for sooooooooooo long :P there is no entertainment there so it really makes us sleepy :P but she'll be fine as long as she have all the documents :) nobody gets denied during my interview just so you know ;) so I'm pretty sure she'll pass. :) wait till you hear the stupendous news from her.

  11. in my case my interview was set at at 6:45 and I get out at the embassy at 4pm :P it's because my documents from st. lukes where not yet there so that cause the delays. But if all her papers where properly turn over to the embassy she can get everything done by before 10am :) relax she's going to be fine I noticed that if you have all the necessary documents with you on the interview then there is no freaking way that she'll get denied :D I actually got lost in some questions :P but I was still approved last January 6 :D

  12. Hi guys, I would just like to leave a quick note to say thank you to everyone who helped me all the way through this journey :)it's been a struggle for me and my fiancee starting from the day that we filed our petition. But just this morning I received my visa in my hometown in Naga but I'm staying here in Manila so I asked someone to pick it up for me and resend it again here in my current address. I was pretty surprised how fast I got my visa. I wasn't expecting it until the 27 :P but I'm glad it exceeded my expectations. My medical and passport wasn't actually forwarded to the Usembassy until the 10 and they printed my visa on the 13. I had my interview last January 6 and we are so happy that we're going to be together soon. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!! this site is really amazing!!!!

  13. I suggest that you start filling out those forms when your fiancee receive a letter from the USCIS with your MNL or should they call it case number on it :D there's no rush in completing those forms cause there just so easy to complete :D good luck girlie and I hope you'll get your NOA2 pretty soon. wish you all the luck in your journey :)

  14. Hi guys, does anyone know the number of 2GO? I would like to track my visa since the embassy told me yesterday that they already printed my visa last January 13, so I would like to check if it's already in their office :) thank you so much!!!! :D

  15. my sympathy to you my friend :( I'm sorry you have to deal with those things...sad but that is really the reality here in the Philippines. You're lucky if you'll find a girl here who would understand that once you marry her it doesn't mean you're married to her entire clan and that you need to provide for them. I guess just talk to her again and if she's capable of working then maybe she could work so it's not only you who will shoulder everything. I hope you'll fix everything between the two of you and that it will save your marriage. Good luck!!!

  16. thank you girl, teka magka iba ba yung 156k at 156?

yes girl it's different from the other :) check out the link that the other member posted here they made the whole thing more easier for you ;). What I did is I just google the DS-156, DS-156K and other forms and it prompt me to the forms :)

  17. Hi girl my interview was last January 6 and your's I think was Jan 7 right? how did you know get a copy of that 2GO form? I would also like to inquire about the status of my visa since you already got your's. Good for you cause your long wait is finally over :D

  18. I live here in Marikina and I'm going to attend the CFO seminar this coming January 27, can I ask what is the exact location of the CFO office that you are referring to? cause I don't know that's it's just near our place. I live in Tanong by the way.
