  1. We only took the forms that we submitted for the AOS plus our original birth certificates, passports, social security card, I-94, and my EAD and AP card. I thought the consul will be easy on us since most of my friends told me that "everything will be alright" even though I don't have those joint accounts with us. I guess I should have trusted my instinct in bringing tons of evidence with us. :( My husband actually didn't thought that the insurance and bank account issue won't be a problem so he didn't even bother to get a copy or add me to his insurance. That raised the eyebrows of the CO and started questioning our marriage. I wanted to get mad at my husband for not believing me that I need those stuff but it's too late now to point fingers :(. I sorted out everything today like the joint bank statement, lease of contract with my name on it, a whole bunch of pictures, gym membership contract, plane tickets when he visited, hotel vouchers from his previous trips, ring receipts, "( it just feels like I'm arranging my K1 visa packet again)" game tickets from soccer and baseball games, except for the insurance since he can't add me now until end of August. :( Those are the stuffs that the CO specifically asked from me! it looks really over whelming and I wished I didn't have to go through this kind of pain if only my husband didn't argue with me and just do as I say :P Oh well, I sure learned my lesson pretty well! too bad I learned it the hard way :P this will be the first and the last that I'm going to a battle with out any weapon on me. We're going to submit all this documents on Saturday through Fedex once we get the written statement from our friends. I sure hope they'll approve me this time. :) wish me luck guys!!!!

  2. May I ask what you exactly provided that was insufficient and what additional thing they wanted?

They asked for joint bank statement since we didn't provided them one, lease of contract with my name on it, letter from our landlord stating that I live in this house with my husband, letter from our friends or family to prove that we are really married and staying at the same place, pictures of his previous visits to see me and current photos of us, plus tickets of the stuff that we did since I got here.

  3. I had my interview today for my AOS but things didn't turned out very well for us. They were asking for more additional proof that we have a bonafide relationship so they gave us a piece of paper of the stuff that we need to submit within 30days. My questions is how to arrange those documents before I send it out? and also is there some one out here who knows the format on how to make an affidavit of sworn statement? they are asking for at least two reference who could prove that our wedding is legitimate. Things are just so frustrating right now :( sigh...

  4. Just a question with the AOS processing guys. I sent my application on mail last April 28 and they got it May 2. Then they sent me 3 text message saying that they have it! but no email for me... May 6, I got my NOA for EAD and AP nothing for the AOS. Then today May 14, I got a mail from USCIS for my biometrics appointment on June 1...My question is...do I get a separate biometrics for the EAD and AOS? should I still be expecting for another biometrics appointment? Am I clear now for any RFE? Thanks guys and hope for your respond :)

  5. Hey Vj's I thought I'd share my experience with the (U.S customs and borders and protection) this is with regards to my screwed up I-94 " I put my fiancee's information instead of mine on the piece of I-94 that was attached to my passport". I have to call them first and explain my situation, then they will set up an appointment for you and you need to bring your passport and I-94. It was pretty quick it only took him 10mins. Then he went out of the room and gave me my corrected I-94. I live here in Seattle Washington so if there is any of you who also have the same problem here's the phone number and address :) (206)553-1920 King County International Airport 7277 perimeter road Seattle WA 98108 (room 116) they'll fix the problem with out any cost :) Thanks to the Vj members who advice me about this matter :) now we are ready to send my papers on this coming Monday!

  6. I already went to the Social Security Office yesterday and they're processing my card now with my new last name on it. I explained to them what happened and since my number on my piece of I-94 matched on what is on their computer I didn't have any problems at all in getting my card. Thank God! I'm going to call the airport and see what they can do for me. Thank you so much guys!!! it's a great relieved on my part :)

  7. I have a question with regards to my I-94 so in this small piece of paper that was left with me that they attached to my passport on my port of entry here in Seattle, it has my fiancee's information on it like Name, Last name, birth of date, and his citizenship. Is this really what it should looks like? I put all my information on the other half of this paper that the police officers in the airport took when I got here. They checked this piece of I-94 x3 and never said anything about this like if there I didn't do it right. Now I'm worried cause my friend is saying that it should be my name that should be in this piece of paper. If she is right, is there anyone that I can talk with to make this thing right? it's causing me anxiety right now, cause I'm confident that I did the right thing cause no one at the airport asked me to repeat the form. Pls...I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Mine was 35$ in Nebraska, I told them I needed immigration I-693 vaccination form transcribed. They said oh you have to do the whole medical. I said ok thanks and hung up. I called again and got someone different. I told them I need my I-693 transcribed I do not need a full medical because i have a valid one already. This woman told me to bring in the receipt from my previous medical, my vaccination sheet copy from my previous medical and the I-693 form with my sections already filled out.

I had called 5-6 other places before I got this one that would do it. It seemed that some of the secretarys did not know I could do this and some of the older women did know and corrected the younger girls.

They charged me for an "outpatient nurses visit" which was their lowest priced thing to pick from their computer billing system.

This one is pretty helpful :) I think i'll use this line as well the next time I call ;) thank you so much!!!!!!!!

  9. Hey, here is a thread where you will find civil surgeons who will transcribe the vaccines without ripping you off, that`s how i found our CS:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/

you call and tell them you just need the transcription from form DS-3025 on I-693 , you don`t need a medical exam because you already had one not longer than 1 year before you apply for AOS so it is not required to have a new one .

    Good luck.

I think some doctors like to make a good money out of us :P lame!!!!!!!
