I may misunderstood your question.
Are you thinking to bring to driving history to show you do not have issue before?
I am not thiking to bring it anyway since NOA does not say we have to bring it.

Yesterday, i received the letter of interview appointment for AOS. There is one notice which says as below.
You DO NOT need to bring any documentation relating to any traffic fine and incidents that WERE NOT alcohol or drug related and did not involve an actual arrest if the only penalty was fine of less than $500 and/or points on your driver's license.
You DO need to bring documentation if you were involved in any traffic incidents that WERE alcohol or drug related or you were arrested for the incident, or if the penalty resulted in a fine of more than $500 and/or points on your driver's license.
I do not have issue such as DUI or large fine. So, I will not bring any documentation about my driving history.
If you have the history of DUI or large fine, I think you have to bring the documentation.

I received the letter for interview. The interview is on Feb. 8th.
FYI, last update on USCIS is Dec. 2nd for all apprication, I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131.

I forgot to mention that the last time that he entered was in 2001, which is before the paperless ESTA system.
did he enter US under VWP? Before ESTA, people under VWP received I-94W at POE. However, recently some (or most) of immigration at airport does not provide it for VWP.

by the way, the ASC where I visited is in San Francisco.

haha! I was reading these thread to kind of see the timelines and it felt so good to read french that I couldn't help myself!
Bon courage a vous et surtout bonne chance
For all those who have done the biometrics already those anyone knows if doing an early walk-in really help speed up the process?
And how early can I do it? I got my letter today and I was thinking about doing a walk in tomorrow, because my husband if off and could stay with our baby-girl while I go there. If successful it will avoid him having to take a day or half a day off to stay with her while I go to the ASC
i do not know if it will help speed up the process. One reason i did walk-in is i was off on Dec. 23 and I needed to take half day off for original appointment. So, I understand your feeling. I am not sure if the ASC open on Dec. 24. I saw somebody received the letter which said Dec. 30 as appointment.

so I have a question when you say walk in it means you just go to the office and try to get your biometrics done? how often does it work?
yes, i just went to the office ealier than my appointment day with the documents which appointment letter said. i am not sure how often it works. i just read a lot of good comments for this ASC on yelp. so, i am possitive they will take walk-in.

biometric done (walk-in)
Today, I was off and I had another appointment near ASC. So, I brought appointment letter, in case they are not busy and accept my walk-in. I arrived there at 13:00 and I left 13:20. There were no appricant except me during my procedure.
I am so happy since I do not need to take half day off for original appointment, Jan. 4. My job is always busy after holidays.
Anyway, happy holidays for everybody here.

So I spoke to two different lawyers and they both told me that as long as I get it in to the USCIS office by the time his VW runs out, we have a case. I decided to go ahead and pay the dude, we have an appointment on monday to get everything in order. My husband and I sorted out all the missing documents, got his medical stuff ready, have the cash in hand. all we can do now is pray!
Thank you for all your help, and try not to be so negative some of you!
"as long as I get it in to the USCIS office by the time his VW runs out"
what does it mean?
i think this means you have to file your documentation by his I-94 runs our which is dec. 15 or 16. "File" means to receive notice from USCIS, it does not mean you mail it. i recently submitted documentation and it tooks more than two weeks to receive notice from USCIS.

Yes, but they didn't use an express courier, they used USPS (United States Postal Service), so address is correct.
OP- This happens a lot. Don't worry, someone will pick it up later today. It's something to do with PO Boxes, and some other rigamarole, but it's fine and normal. Good luck.
i am sorry.
i thought Express mail on page 6 means USPS express mail, and Courier deliveries means like fedex and dhl.

Hey guys so I sent all of my paperwork yesterday by USPS express mail and I go to check today and it says: We attempted to deliver your item at 10:50 am on December 08, 2010 in CHICAGO, IL 60680 and a notice was left. You may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice
Did I send it to the wrong address?
I sent it to:
USCIS PO BOX 805887
CHICAGO IL
60680 4120
I just assumed it would have been straight up delivered to someone.
Well thanks for any help.
I-485 instraction page 6 says
For Couriers/Express deliveries:
USCIS
Attn: FBAS
131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517
