My case was completed on 03-04-2011 and still no interview scheduled. I don't understand the delay because interviews were scheduled one month out from interview completed dates according to timelines of VJ members seeking IR-1/CR-1 visas for their Nigerian spouses. Obviously something changed but what? Are they processing other visa categories and pushing back IR-1/CR-1s? NVC will not say how long and it is so incredibly discouraging.

Police certs are good for one year. My husband just did his last month and he paid 5,500naira and he was able to get it within two hours. Additional copies will be more cost i'm sure. Feel free to negotiate and get it done at Alagbon close forensic section.

What is the cost of Police Certificate obtained in Lagos Nigeria? And how long did it take to get it?

My husband will be traveling there soon and we are wondering how long he should expect to be in Lagos.

Please share your experience. What you paid? Did you megotiate the fee? How long before you had the certificate in hand? Is there additional cost for 2 copies?

Only experiences from last 4 or 5 months please. Seems anything older than that will be outdated.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some advice.

My husband failed to write: Attention: ACL on the mailing of DS-3032 this week.

Our options, IMO, are:

1) Wait and see what happens, or

2) Start over. Print out the barcoded DS-3032 again, complete it fully and carefully then send it again express mail with Attention: ACL in address.

What do you think?
