I just wanted to pop in and report to you all that I'm the one who knows the infamous..."Mr Green Shirt". I've known him for a while now. I am NOT in any kind of a relationship with him. We are good friends.

I think any of us would report back to any of our friends if you saw a picture of her/him on a website. Keep in mind that his pic was posted on 2 websites. I don't think this makes me a lurker. I think it makes me a friend.

I don't mean to stir any thing up here. I just wanted to let you know that some people are not lurking. Some folks are no longer on the VJ journey. But they made friends along the way. I occasionally pop in from time to time to see how some of the OLD vets are doing.

The majority of the relationships on here started with someone visting Jamaica. I did not say ALL of us. And nor did I say I agreed with his actions in any way, shape or form. And just because SHE said he was unhappy with the pic being posted you believe her? If you guys believe everything that is posted on the web then you are right....we do have more important things going here than Mr Green Shirt. Keep up the laughs ladies.

Hey everybody!! I have a question: Who do I call about clarification in regards to being able to file for the CR-1 visa BEFORE Gregory's eligibility to receive a visa comes around...since I originally assumed that we wouldn't even be able to apply for a visa until 2009, I hadn't given it much thought. However with this new info, I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask. After all, receiving the visa (in hand) and applying for one could be construed as two different things...if so, then maybe we could start the filing process late next year...

You know when I read about you waiting to file for 3 years, I thought that was correct as well because of WHY he was denied. Even though many people have said file the CR-1 before that 3 years, I am still wondering.

I don't think you can refile before the 3 years. When our denial came through (for the same thing)...I was going to try the other route...and spoke to 3 attorney's...and they all said that it doesn't change the outcome of the prior denial. I'm sure there are lawyers out there that will take the case for the cash....but I would be very careful. Good luck! And best wishes on the upcoming wedding!

Unless I missed something...I've been trying to see where exactly this "drama" you are all talking about that started. I too have been here from the get-go when Miss Squitto started the thread...and needed your support when I was going through my journey which ended in a denial. I have to say...sometimes this thread is always "cheery - o" and very supportive. Which is very much needed because we all have experienced that "are you nuts" looks and comments from family & friends when we tell them what we are doing. But then the JA fiance/spouse enters the US and we have a whole new journey ahead of us. Some are blissful....some are not.

But I think when people add their comments (good or bad) we need to listen to it and also take it with a grain of salt. I feel we need to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions about how they handled a certain situation(s). But by tearing down the person that may have posted something"negative" (in your opinion) doesn't mean that he/she isn't trying to help. He/she is adding his/her advice too. And if you don't like what they have to say...then don't listen. Skim over it and move on. While I am no longer on this "journey"....I still get excited about your arrivals and adjustments. We need the vets (Mindy, Squitto, Jamie, Rhonda, Jonesie & Nyseness) And we still the newbies because they keep changing the damn paperwork!!!

I'm a newbie and I'm just curiouse to know why your visa was denied. I just started the process but I'm a bit nervous for my fiance.

He tested positive for weed in his system at his medical exam. Make sure he's clean and DENY DENY DENY no matter who askes him. We got banned for 3 years!

Things are good here. The kids are soo good. I've been so blessed with 2 good ones. However, we're on the cusp of those teenage years...so will see soon enough.

JG (jomo's girl)...I havent had a chance to get on there yet. Been very busy. Send me the details again...I'm not sure if I still have them. DRock is a nut and tell him that I say hey.

I have no plans to get back down there yet. Mortgage kicking my butt still. JamaicaDiva told me about trying to get down there for Sumfest....I would love too. I'm thinking about it. And actually hanging out with her tonight for some reggae.
