  1. make CERTAIN that you log EVERYTHING ... whether it's on your computer (keep a hardcopy pirnted out sometimes) or keep a notebook because believe me you WILL forget some things. document everything: names/employee numbers of who you speak with, dates/times, what was said and by whom, when you were told to call back and under what circumstance, any numbers they give you (SR#) and so on.

document actions you've taken (emailed who, when, what you sent/said, to what email/phone#/etc)

document what you need to do, when, to whom

you need a paper trail, for your own self, but also as proof to document what you have done and how you've tried to resolve this to no avail.

YES I take note of everything! It just doesnt seem to be of any help... it doesnt change anything they decide to do anyways.

  2. ####### does 7 days on your priority date matter to them? You're 60 days out of processing. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Seems clear to me like TSC is processing applications in the order that they were received by TSC, not by the NOA1 dates.

This is so unfair but you are right 7 days shouldnt b much of a diffrence in my case but it makes a diffrence in me because it makes me feel worst.... Marriage shouldnt b like this. How do they expect us to give them evidence of marriage if we are not even together thanks to them...

  3. Hey guys so I called USCIS since im going on my 7th month mark and the lady who answered was very rude and said to call back on the 27th of this month because thats when i put in my service request and until then she couldnt help me and wouldnt let me talk 2 a tier 2 rep. Even though i remember clearly it was the 22 and its only 2 days early. She also said that my Priority date was not July 1st that it was the 8th! NOT TRUE! my noa1 says JULY 1ST! I feel exausted....:crying:

  4. HI GUYS! :)

I AS WELL HAVE JUST BEEN CHECKING UP ON YOUR POST EVERY FEW DAYS BUT IM STARTING TO GET DEPPRESED SO I JUST RATHER TRY TO NOT THINK ABOUT IT. BUT AS MY 6 MONTH MARK IS COMING IN MY HUSBAND CALLED USCIS YESTERDAY AND GOT A "SR" DONE ALSO. (L):D I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER CAUSE HES GONNA COME B WITH ME A FEW DAYS  ON THE 31ST AFTER A VERY VERY EXPENSIVE PLAN TICKET!

JUST THOUGHT ID SHARE WITH U GUYS THE GOOD NEWS!

AS MUCH AS I WANT TO SEE HIM I WISH THAT I COULD JUST GET MY NOA1 AND THAT WILL B 100 TIMES BETTER CAUSE THEN I WONT HAVE 2 GO THREW SAYING GOODBYE WHEN HE LEAVES.... :crying:

  5. Hey guys! I emailed my lawyer about me being scared of waiting 5 more months since transfer and all of us getting diffrent answers. This is what she said:

The National Customer Service Center , which is listed on receipt notices, is basically useless. We used to be able to call into each Service Center and talk with an actual human being, but that ended when former President Bush reorganized the former INS. The National Customer Service Center is manned by staffing companies who win contracts with the U.S. government. They are NOT employees of Citizenship and Immigration Services and know very little. That is why you are getting different answers. As a rule, we don’t call them because it is a waste of time.

Now we have to go through a liaison to get through to a human being at the service center. I just did that. The officer told me that your petition was transferred to the Texas Service Center simply because they have more manpower right now to adjudicate and California is overwhelmed and unable to make the five month goal of adjudication. He assured me that your petition will be adjudicated shortly and we will get the decision soon. He also confirmed that the recorded message of an additional 180 days after transfer does not apply in your case.

I hope to have good news for you soon.

Just thought i would share the news with you all!

  6. We too are August filers who got sent to TSC on 11/4 and then got the notice that it had been sent to a "USCIS Office" on 11/25. When I called last week, I did get a level 2 person and he said it was still at TSC and that it had never left. From what I can see, TSC is pretty screwed up and are probably enterring status codes to the online system incorrectly.

Accordingly, I question what really happened to the petitions for people who went from the "initial interview" status to "post decision" status. This is not a "normal" progression and many people got this update. I am guessing that one of the following 2 things happened:

    • They never really left TSC and agent(s) enttered incorrect status codes.
    • They were incorrectly forwarded somewhere and then returned and are continuing to be processed in the normal manner.

When I called the USCIS about our transfer (to a USCIS office), the person that answered the phone (level 1?) said that he did not have access to my actual case file and would need to "escalate my call" (to level 2?). The second person actually looked at my case and said, "no, it had never left TSC".

I mention this because if you never talked to a level 2 person, he/she wass not actually looking at your case but was giving you a scripted answer of some sort.

Do you know what the status of your petition is now? If it's back to "initial review" I think you are good to go. If not, you might want to try to call again. In my case I simply told the 1st guy that the online system said I was transferred to a USCIS office, I had never gotten the notification in the mail and I would like to know "which office" my petition was in. I never asked to be transferred but, based on that request, he escalated the call.

For all people calling USCIS: - I DO NOT Recommend using words that request a level 2 person. Just be humble, polite and friendly and ask questions that you think will get your petition escalated. I know it is definitely based on what agent you get but if you are not getting what you need and they don't escalate your call, simply call back and try different wording. Again...the answering agent does not have access to your specific file. He/she probably has the same status info you do and is tasked with explaining what that status/info means. He/she is probably also tasked with minimizing the number of calls escalated to a level 2. The key is for you to engage the agent in such a way that he/she believes you have a need for a level 2 and he/she WANTS to help you get there. (Obviously, just my 2 cents, as always).

Best wishes to you and all of us on this journey.

Hey so I did exactly what u said to do and and got transfered to a level 2 person. They said my case was also still at TSC. When I asked about the wait period of 5 months she said that a petition isnt really overdue till 15 days after the 5 month period and if I didnt get any notification by then to call and they could probably do something in order to speed up the proccees. She said that meanwhile she really couldnt give me much information. Also, that TSC is trying to honor the 5 month period, so if we didnt get anything after 5 months to call and we did not have to wait 3 or 5 more months more. To me this is good news!

  7. Well, since my last post, there has been no touches on our I-130. So I'm in the same boat as all of you. But there has been one VERY positive development. I couldn't wait to see my wife again, so I went back to see her for her birthday and of course my own. I returned to the US from that visit on November 21.. wishing that I could have brought her with me. And we're staying positive, but now I can only hope that we are moving along. As she told me last night, I'm going to be a father.. :) Seems our visit was a bit magical!

    Everyone keep being positive.. :D

At least I'm going to be more positive then ever now, Seems that my Christmas gift came early this year..

    Keep smiling gang!

    Thomas

WOW! Thats amazing news! Congratz! Wish both of u the best! That is definitley a good reason to stay positive!

  8. Many many happy returns of the day.Just think that this will be the last birthday without your loved ones. And this birthday will remind you how much you missed your loved one for the rest of your life. I am on the same boat with you. I know we are going through emotional roller coaster, and this moment will bind us with our loved ones forever. Just have a trust on god. I stopped being obsessive in checking USCIS status and checking mail box. Every thing has a right time to happen. I know it is easier to say but hard to bear. We will be with our loved ones one day and nothing can change that. It is just matter of time. we wil go through this.

Thank you, its very hard at times but, i guess we also learn from this how to appreciate what we have. I stopped cheacking my status also. I figured its pointless and its not gonna change anything. You are right the important thing is one day sooner or later we will be together again.

  9.

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo feel your pain!!! My bottom is glued to this horrible chair in front of the PC.....my husband also tells me to calm down....but AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......I am going NUTS!!!! Two Jehovah's Witnesses came to my door earlier and I actually told our whole visa story to a couple of strangers....poor little old ladies, probably wish they had not come to the door.....GOD HELP US!!!:bonk:

Lol I know what you mean my family here in Mexico are probebly annoyed of hahah all I do is talk about how bad I wanna go home 2 my husband or how its unfair that aug. filers already got there approvals already and I'm a July filer and NOTHING! NADA! Hahah they don't even say anything anymore lol theyy just look at me weird and say yes yes yes hahaha i don't seem 2 care though cause I still keep talking about it with them... hahah I feel bad 4 them too Lol hahahaha if u read everything from the last week uptill now it seems like we are all going crazy

  10. I have mixed feelings too - it's just natural given that it's obvious we're not being processed according to the order in which we received our NOA1s. I guess we have to take comfort in the knowledge that we'll probably be approved sooner or later -- hopefully this week for the July filers!!!!

My husband keeps telling me to not stress about it to much... but I try to go to bed around 11 pm and I don't fall asleep till 2am thinking that maybe ill get an approval next day! Hhaha I need patience.... My husband says that if I can't do anything about the problem then don't stress about it cause stress won't help and if my problem has a solution then don't stress bout it cause its goin to get fixed... Think he's right, just going to not check my status till after 6 hhaha

  11. As happy as I am for those who have been approved, it's making that much more anxious! Keepin me on my toes...sigh. My dreams are full of approval emails lol...

Haha so I went 2 bed and dreamed that I checked the website n I had gotten an approval and then I woke up and I ran to my laptop n guess what.... no approval yet.... agh this is driving me CRAZY! Congratz to those who did receive NOA2... though I'm happy 4 u guys I have to admite that I'm jelouse....

  12. OK......I just got off the phone with the USCIS officer as I'm a nervous wreck about all this. I asked point blank if it is a BAD thing if 'OUR' case was sent to a USCIS office. I told her that on the 24th we got an E-mail stating that we were sent to a USCIS office. She said it is absolutley not negative if papers are sent to your local USCIS office and in our case it's due to expedite. I am praying with all my heart that all of us get our approvals soon and NO RFE's.....

PEACE EVERYONE!!! Good karma will be coming our way....I feel it in my bones...

sorry hahaha what is the "expedite?"
