    I know waiting is the hardest part of this process..... BUT WAITING FOR THE EAD IS KILLLLLLING US :crying: !!!! We need his ssn like yesterday! Our lease is up on the 29th and we cannot get a new apartment without him having his ssn....

    We are crossing our fingers, it hasnt come yet, but maybe it wil come tomorow or saturday :unsure:

    Its weird that we got 3 texts from uscis about the EAD being approved/produced..... anybody else get three???

    ANYWAYS, wish us luck :help: and good luck to all of you! We are almost there guys!!! :thumbs:

    Hello all vawa selfpetitioners.

    I am new here and I would like to say from what I have read from most applicants ,it hasnt been easy through this journey for them so is my case.I came here to the USA ith my to kids on a K1 visa they came on a K2 visa .I have lived and been married to my USC for 3-4 we gat married in my country in 2007 and again we gat married in the USA in 2008 because he had applied for a K1 visa for me .After being here for 6 months things changed started abusing me mentally and my kids ,he uses the fact that he hasnt filed immigration papers for me and my children to make our lives miserable and to abuse us to do things the he wants.call me names .doenst want me to work and have friends and much more worse things that you can imagine those who have gon through abuse know what I am talking about.He says I will never go to my counrty with my son that I have with him who was born in 2008 here in the USA.I filed for vawa my self without the help of lawyer last monthu january 2011.At first uscis requested for more evidence on GOOD MORAL i sent and they sent me a reciept to say they received my good moral .I gat a prima facie a week ago and also i was sent to to finger prints and biometrics for i-485 because i concurrently filed i-360 with i-485.Whats teh next stage i see most people say there case was touched dont see mine touched except that they will notify me in 60 days with the decission they will make can someone tell me what to expect next .Thank you and wishing everyone all the best that is going through abuse God bless you all and will keep you in my prayers Lady G

    I received my biometrics letter 1/26/11.

    On 2/8 I received an email that on 2/7 a RFE and notice letter had been mailed out.

    Is this normal to get a RFE after your biometrics letter has been scheduled?

    I am applying for adjustment of status through family based

    Same thing over here. USCIS behind time on the website/email. I received that same RFE when I was doing my citizenship. Don't worry about it. I received my moms biomertrics letter on 02/23/11. They're just waiting on the fingerprints to proceed with the case... that's it.
