    If I have copies of W2s and 1040s for the last three years, do I also need IRS tax transcripts? Or are they the same thing?

      You need any of the sub-forms used for calculations, and any 1099s or other income forms. I got an RFE for not having 1099s for my savings accounts.

    I heard if you are a US Veteran the processing times could be less if you hold a current security clearance, anyone know if this is true?

    ok my time line has gone nuts too changing everyother day now it says i may be adjuncted april 15 - june 2! while uscis says its processing only a month a head of my date. but none of those dates are apearing as processed. #######?

    Need some comment please: My flight is March 2 POE-Chicago. Question is, Is it okey to bring different kinds of CANDIES like 5kinds and each kind is more than 5pcs. made from Philippines? It will not be confiscate at the Chicago Airport?

      I'm not sure about Philippines candy, but I've brought back candy/chocolates from Europe and never had a problem. Just declare them on the customs form as 'candies'. I've never had them even ask about it.

      It is an estimate of when your case might be approved based on how long it is taking other users at VJ right now. It's only an estimate, and can change quite a bit between now and then.

    Feeling calmer now that I can view online status, as stupid as that may sound. The SO is flying back to Scotland to spend the weekend with his family. As for me, focusing on work to pass the days.

      Doing a quick search, it appears that the consulate /should/ automatically extend the validity of the NOA2. You may want to double check that, though. Doing searches has proved me wrong before.

    Wondering if one can work remote for foreign country while AOS is pending? *curious*

      My fiance is a programmer for a company that does medical software. They only just recently got an office in Surrey. Before that, he worked from home in Scotland. So we're both tentitively hopeful that his boss might be willing to let him work from the U.S. Especially since it's a small company and only has two programmers (him and his boss).
