If not, you should be! You'll get a lot of great advice there too! xx

  2. You'd think that given the "special relationship" between the US and UK it would be quick and easy. We'll see. The distance is most certainly the worst part, we did it for the first five years of our relationship so I know we'll cope. It'll just be hard after living together for the past two years.

I hope he has a safe journey back to the UK and good luck getting th...

Definitely phone daily if you want to nab a cancellation, mine ended up being over 10 days earlier than the original date they gave me!

  5. Congrats on your approval. I liked your interview review...especially the end when you talk about getting there eventually. I wish you all the best with your move! xx

  6. Congrats on your marriage, how is all the paper work going? xx

  7. Congrats on your NOA1, its nice to just get on the map. It'll be a long wait but visiting helps and in time, your approval will arrive. Good luck! xx

  8. Did you receive your case number on June 23rd?

  9. Don't despair, our application got sent back because of an oversight with his UK residence card. Fixed it and sent it back the next day, notification of acceptance was sent a couple days later. It's easy to get stressed out but really you just want to enjoy the time with your husband and baby before he leaves xx

  10. enjoying few days I have left with my husband. All this immigration stuff is on hold whilst we enjoy being together again xx

  11. Flights are expensive but if you shop around you can sometimes get good deals and of course it depends on what time of the year you fly. It's difficult being apart and I'm so glad we can fit in a visit or two whilst this process is going on. Keep your chin up because you guys are finally going somewhere, we're still waiting on the I-130 approval! xx

  12. Good luck with your application, hoping that the process is swift for us both. No information on your page yet, would love to know a little about you and your husband. Hoping for quick NOA2 xx

  13. Good luck with your interview, let us know how it goes!

  14. hi, do you have NOA2?

  15. Hi, I just saw your message. I moved over to the US in October after a full 10 months of being separated from my husband. Everything since has just been a whirl wind. Being patient is tough but you'll get there (here) in the end. I actually wish I'd made better use of my time in the UK because I miss family, friends and London so much! Good luck with your journey! xx

  16. Hi, I thought I'd send you a mesage as I've seen your many posts in the forums. My husband and I are preparing to send in our I-130 in January. At the moment he is here in England with me and has been since Jan 09 but he'll be returning to America next month and we'll file then. Hopefully both our applications will go smoothly and we won't have a long waiting time! xx

  17. Hi, Just wondering if you've filed and received your NOA1 yet? xx

  18. Hi! We share the same timeline concerns and I'd love to hear your opinion on the latest embassy website update. 10 months most certainly wouldn't get you over there by July. I was hoping to be out there by August at the latest. Very dissapointed that 3-6 months is stretching to 7-10 months! xx

  19. I had my husband come over on a finace visa to the UK, of course he didn't like it and now we're preparing to file my I-130. Hopefully we'll file here in London but my husband has to return to America next month to prepare for an upcoming job :(

  20. I have been so bad at visiting these forums! The move has just been crazy, in my defence! xx

  21. I hope your interview went well xx

  22. I know, I'm really disappointed because going into this I thought it would take 3-6 months for the whole process. Now, I don't think I'll make it out there until November. Of course, I am always hoping that they mean for people filing now it'll take 10months. Like, from April onwards and the rest of us can stick with the old process times. But I doubt it...only time will tell...

  23. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying married life, that's what its all about. I have my interview tomorrow! xx

  24. is going crazy waiting on this interview date...
