My wife got her Permanent Resident Welcome Letter today. It was mailed from the CSC on 2/7/2011. I was under the impression that the card and the letter had been sent together in the mail for most people, but in our case, we got the letter first. Perhaps you'll get a letter too

Can you believe a 5th email for I-485 status update in 3 days? It arrived last night at 10:30pm. It read: "The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on February 8, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days."
