  1. When you say "medical report" do you mean her x-ray? Or her copy of the medical report? Or her vaccinations??

She needs only the brown/yellow envelope she received with her visa. Her medical report SHOULD be in her file but to be safe it would be wise to put her medical stuff in her carry on. For Aus everything was in the brown envelope and I had a copy of my vaccinations and I had the physical x-ray that I put in my checked bags (it was huge). i didn't NEED to bring the x-ray but some people suggest it's good for your own personal medical records. The copy of the DS-3025 she WILL need for her AOS.

Also, if she doesn't have her DS-3025, or she's able to get a copy of her medical and doesn't have one already she should do that before she leaves her home country. USCIS is known to lose the medical and issue RFE's so if she has a copy she could send a copy of it with her AOS and avoid issues.

    Thanks.

She got the visa, she is coming - it's her X-RAY report - I told her to carry with her and NOT check in.

  2. That is incorrect- tourist visas do not get sponsored (and he cannot sponsor his in-laws for an immigration visa).

    Thanks guys.

I read in the embassy website that I donot need to file I-134 - I wrote a letter stating they will bear all the travelling expenses and I will provide accomodation and food. Is that okay??

    Thanks again.

  3. Hey Guys,

My fiancee recently received her K1 visas. I did the sponsorship by filling out I-134 etc.

The question is can I sponsor someone else less than a month by filing I-134 again for TOURIST VISAS? I would like to sponsor her parents to attend the wedding.

    Please help!

    Thanks

  4. Hi Guys

I need to know the following:

    1) I need to send 3 years of tax returns, correct? That is 2008-2010? Do I need to send IRS transcripts or my signed copies are okay?

    2) Do I need to notarize anything? A lot of people have said I don't need to, but just want to confirm.

    3) Is there something new that I need to send or my fiancee needs to carry at the embassy apart from the usual papers?

(We have photos, emails, phone bills, affidavit of support, tax returns, Police and Passport clearance, Medical, birth certificate,

I-129F copy filed with USCIS, paystubs, employment letter, bank letter, letter of intend to marry and other forms)

Is there anything else to take to the embassy??

    Thanks a million.

  5. I just received my new case number from NVC. The lady told me they will be forwarding it to the embassy in a few days. I had a few question, so if anyone as done the K-1 visa in India i would highly appreciate your input

    1. Do i call the Chennai embassy to check if they have received my file or should i call VFS or do they just mail me Packet 3 upon receiving my file ?

    2. Does Chennai embassy send me the packet 3/4 to my mailing address or do i have to call and request them to send it ?

    3. Do i have to personally submit all documents to the VFS or the consulate ?

Your quick reply is highly appreciated thank you very much.

    Hi

    1) Email chennai embassy with your case number given by NVC and ask them when should you expect Packet 3? Many times you may not receive them, so make sure you keep the forms ready (download from online)

    2) Chennai embassy will send you to your address listed on I-129F when filed

    3) Once you gather ALL documents then submit to VFS office. I think you need to submit few days before the interview.

  6. The best bet is to get the tax transcripts. Call the 800# verify address and social and receive it via mail in 5-7 days. But if you cant wait that long, the electronic filed returned with the date originally filed and signed is sufficient and works fine. Goodluck.

I did paper filing, so I need to print the copies of the return and put the date when they were filed for those years, right???
