About 10 o'clock this morning I received a call from my Congresslady. MY I360 HAS BEEN APPROVED. I'm in total shock crying and shaking . After nearly two years of waiting my emotions are just simply overwhelmed. I'm finally going be me again and will be able to move past this and live my life again. Thank you God for answering my prayers and thank you Steve my boyfriend for putting up with me through all this ordeal.

I called my attorney who hadn't yet heard. She called the Congresslady and then my attorney called me back. My petition had been approved on May 30th although there was no message online to say that I had been approved.

I just want to thank all of you who have been through this with me. Your constant kind words of encouragement and support have meant so much to me I can't thank you all enough.

I need some answers on how to divorce. I was married to a Egyptian in Cairo, Egypt. Now he is in the USA on a K3 visa. (which expires Jan 2007) I have not seen him since July 2005 and have no clue where he might be. I want to complete a divorce but not sure what steps to take because the marriage took place in Egypt. Anyone with information will be most helpful.

basicly you have to go to the county court house in your city to divorce. it would proble be uncontested depending on the laws in your state. one thing you will have to do is inform your husband that your divorcing.

Last night as I was headed back to my car in the parking lot of a chain grocery store and noticed a dead mouse in the parking lot. As I got into my car and put the keys into the ignition, I burst into tears and my hand was shaking.

in texas you would find rattle snakes in the parking lot. so why are you freaking out over a dead mouse? would worry more if I saw a small snake.

lol... One time i was actually trapped on top of my coffee table for a hour or more cause of a freaking mouse... I called up my Brother in law crying cause I was SOO freaked.. and the last thing I saw was the F'ing mouse run UNDER THE COFFEE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now logically I KNOW mice are some what harmless.. and yada ya.. BUT i always react.

Actually thinking about this... There is this one thing (it will NOT be named) that could put me in a panic attack in one second.. TECHNICALLY it is harmless.. and even typing this gives me the urge to Puke.. my friend has a dish to get arabic TV. it is some plan where him and all his friends bought into the programming line up. anyways he pays something like 6.00 towards the use of the dish and programming. each person some how has a dish at their house. I will ask more about how they worked it out.

I know for a fact in pakistan for example. a man can have up to 4 wifes.

they are supposed to be legalized. but, you have people that marry for religous reasons. unlike in the USA marry is married. in other nations you can marry religous and it not be legalized. until its registared. counties like pakistan dont accept this practice but, people still do it. also countries like pakistan also dont keep a good paper trail. so like the person stated above india has a lot of temples that anyone could marry. this is true about pakistan. but, the bottomline is they would have to registar in order to make the marriage legalized. this also protects the wives. Having said that this fellow could have married in his country. he proble had no prior petition. so when the case got to the embassy they only looked at the OP to see if she was already married.

I am 26 years old. My US citizen spouse married me in India and there was no indication that he doesn't like me. I came to US on K3 visa. I don't know anybody else in this whole country except my in-laws family.

After 5 days he started flirting around. Then I came to know that he married 3 girls in India prior to me and used them for his pleasure and abondoned them without divorce. He kicked me out too and thretened the people who provided me shelter with gun. I was so afraid of his gun and didn't know english and rules of this country. Some people from my country came forward and helped me with shelter.

I am still on K3 after 6 months being in usa. K3 is valid upto Dec 2008.

Please help what do I do to apply for EAD and other forms, social security card etc.? I have no money and no medical.

How can fraud case be filed agaisnt spouse? Will it affect my future case processing?

How did you come to learn of the 3 wives? Since you married in India, laws there would prevail as to whether or not this marriage is valid. Since I'm not familiar with custom, I can't comment.....but fraud is only fraud if something that should have been disclosed wasn't.

regarding the marriages it has been very common in india people getting married and not legally registring the marriage with the indian court

as long as the marriage is not registered in indian court how will the govt. know legally the couples are married?

there is no evidence except a simple marriage certificate

also i would like to say there are umpteempth no. of temples and places where people get married again if these marriages arent registerd the indian govt. really doesnt know who married whom

regarding us and uk we are really required to send our marriage certificate along with the court marriage registration which is a must without that the beneficiary if not uscis level or nvc level but the beneficiary will suffer troubles at the local embassy level.

Planning my graduation party!!!

I got the invites printed up a Kinkos. you know the University was talking

$60.00 for invites. I went the cheap way got the fill in the blanks from the doller store.

I am kidding. but, I did get the blank ones from Party city and took them to kinkos

to get them printed up. cost me only 3.00 to compose what I wanted to say and cost me something like 1.17 cents to print them up. 12 people are comming so its not like I need like 25 -50 invites.

I ordered my cap, gown, tassle and graditude scarf. my besfriend is putting little bunnies on my cap, with some sparkles. party city had things you could stick on your cap but, it was not what I wanted to say. this had " class of 2007 ".

I am also working on thank you gift bags. I have little frames that will have my graduation pic in it. then there will be a hand written thank you in the bag.

My fiancee finished her interview for a visa at the US embasssy (actually the US Interests Section in Havana, Cuba) and she was told she had to come back with her CV. I helped my fiancee with the translation of her CV (curriculum vitae, or educational background), she is a biologist BTW.

They wouldn't give her any timeline on how long this is supposed to take. They made copies or faxed them to someplace, I think. Does anyone have any ideas how long this process will take? We've already spend enough time just to get past the interview stage. Yes, check the my timeline, it was really that long!!!

they wanted them for AP/AR< admin processing > . educational, work in various areas Trigger AP/AR once she gives the CV they will place her on AP/AR. it wont start til the day they receive it. AP/AR can take a few days to 2 years to finish.

My fiance just had her interview in Guyana on June 4. When I was there back in April I filed an application for my birth certificate and we still haven't received it. Also, she didn't have a certified copy of my 1040. I sent her the 1040 and the only thing we're waiting on is the BC. They told her when she gets all the necessary documents to mail them to the embassy. Do they call her in for another interview or do they make the decision on their own based on what they receive???

I made reservations to meet my husband to be, at peshawar airport in October. This will be my first time in Pakistan. I advise you first get vacinated against illness in pakistan contact the CDC reguarding what shots you can get. I recommend this because, pakistan is NASTY, the water is not good either. you are bound to get some kind if stomic illness. I will also advise you never to drink the water there. dont even brush your teeth with that water, never use ice. drink only bottled water and bottle drinks. also have your husband to be to taste your food before taking. bring shower gell instead of bar soap because, if the water problem- showe gel gets a better foam vs bar soap, bring wet wipes, and extra lady products. bring something for diareaa, upset tummy.
