It is normal to believe the consulate officers when they tell you that you are approved. I think it's a mean trick because they don't tell you that it may take some time if they are going to do a security check.
I hope and pray that all goes well with your journey and you do get to your love before the holidays!
Good luck!
hello, yes i agree with you, but he would never keep my passport if it was a mean trick, and they have no other choice but to give us this visa as soon as possible, anyways it is a choice that we took my fiancee and me among many other choice. so to dont live together in the USA dosnt mean the end of the world it is ? what is important for us is to live together no matter where..... the probleme in this matter, is'nt about the visa, the probleme is that no one give you an answer you stay waiting like this you dont know what happen, its like they dont know we miss each other they do?

My husband went for his interview on sept 27th. He had an easy interview like 10 minutes but still they asked him within that 10 minutes all 3 of my children's birthdates and they are 14, 15 and 24...they asked my parents name and information about me...something that happened tragic in my childhood...things we shared together and asked him what he liked best about me and about my two trips.....asked about his work and why he wanted to leave a beautiful place like Morocco and his place of work at Mazagan...Im sure there were other questions in that 10 minutes but my husband and the CO hit it off great and my husband even invited him back to his city for a game of golf at mazagan,lol....not sure why you would be so lucky to get only 3 questions because that would not even cover info about your wifes name where she came from or anything about your life together. It's puzzling....The CO indicated to my husband I had sent in way too much info...maybe cause I wanted them to see our relationship was real and leave no doubts so whatever private intimate talks we had was never scratched out. it was available for them to read...maybe this helped im not sure....my husband is a liked man usually by most who meet him...plus he worked around some American tourists and actors so he was comfortable at the interview...anyway, he was told approved and to come pick up his visa two days later on wednesday! They had him to leave his passport but they also called him back and told him the CO forgot to have him leave his photos for visa/passport to bring back to the consulate in the morning on that following wednesday....he waited in line and he got no visa ready!...was told to come back on Thursday, he made the trip with about 14 others waiting and still no visa after waiting all day.....i called the Embassy on that Friday and lady told me no problem, his visa will be ready and is there. He should come back on Monday they were closing that evening of Friday....Come Monday, I sent my husband back again....still they said no visa here for you yet...he said Look....you have said to come back everyday and today I will not leave again without my visa...it's too many travels and they had him to come and wait an hour in a chair and they came back with his visa as they promised him...It appears someone there did not want to take the time to print off the visa or look for it so they kept sending him and others away, but he had enough that day and he was now sick from waiting in the hot sun and he lost his job for missing everyday trying to get his visa.....he has it and is now spending his days with his family in the family home and with friends before departing his country at the end of this month.......You must have a great job because my husband worked as chauffeur at mazagan 16 hrs a day about 6 days a week for a mere $400 a month!! I was told by others this was good money for Morocco...He is paying for his trip but he has saved and with my help of sending $200-300 payments to help with costs of his rent........he even starred in about 5 episodes of a Lebanese/Arabic movie and only got paid about $200 all I can say is wow getting paid over a $1000 for only 15 days. Some people in USA don't get paid what you said you made in 15 days.....sure you want to come to USA? USA is land of oppurtunities but only with lots of struggling and sacrifices...Life is not easy...sounds like you are living like a King there, lol by poolside and bar.......I hope you hear something soon since you gave up everything too soon. Oh I forgot to say too that his CO forgot to give him any paper to show approved...nothing at all but he was approved.....I wish you and the fiance the best.
thanks for ya post, that's so sweet from ya to share with us what happening to both of you, im so happy you finaly will be together, me either they gave me no slip in the end of my interview, it took me 5 min, few questions about my fiancee her parents how we meet ( we meet in the train when i was in ma way back home) and he asked me about my work and everything, he looked fews pictures he asked me " do you like ya fiancee with dark or blonde hair? lolllll" i said blonde
" he smile and said ohhh i agreeeee " i was like " oh boy
" and then he said " sir you are approuved do you nede your passport ? " i said no i ahve my ID, then he said " well we will give youa call in one or twoo weeks to come get it" so i said thanks have a great day. i hear you when you say that its hard to live in USA but what can we do?, that's why we call it falling in love you just fall, but im sur we will be fine and happy and i will be still telling her sweet words when she will be 60 or 70 years old

MY HUSBAND WENT TO HIS INTERVIEW BACK IN MARCH 2010 AFTER MUCH TIME WE FINALLY FOUND OUT THEY DECIDED TO SEND OUR FILE BACK TO IMMIGRATION FOR REVIEW REQUESTING THAT THEY DENY THE PREVIOUS APPROVAL OF OUR PETITION. THEY BELIEVE THAT OUR RELATIONSHIP IS NOT LEGITIMATE. AFTER 2 MONTHS IT FINALLY REACHED THE IMMIGRATION DEPT AT WHICH TIME WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO WAIT 120 DAYS FOR AN UPDATE TO THE CASE. WE WAITED THE 120 DAYS AND I CALLED IN ON WEDNESDAY THE 27TH OF OCTOBER. THEY SENT AN EMAIL TO THE CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER WHICH IS WHERE OUR CASE IS BEING PROCESSED TO SEE WHAT THE STATUS WAS AS THERE WAS NO UPDATE OR CONTACT RECIEVED WHITHIN THE 120 DAY TIME FRAME. TODAY I GOT AN EMAIL THAT SAID::The status of this service request is:
The required background checks for the subject case remain pending. We will render a decision as soon as the background checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision within 180 days of this inquiry, please contact csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov.
NOW ITS ANOTHER 6 MONTHS DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO ARE WE REALLY GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 6 MONTHS FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK AND WHY EXACTLY IS ANOTHER ONE BEING DONE SINCE ONE WAS DONE ALREADY AND HOW LONG REALLY DOES THIS TAKE PLEASE ANYONE WHO HAS ANY VITAL INFORMATION ON THIS OR CAN HELP IN ANY WAY I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE THE ASSISTANCE IN THIS.
hello first of all im so sorry for what happening to both of you right now, i think its the last thing someone can want to try, my advice is to try to contact again your gongressman, see if can make it easier for you and to make it faster, i guess all you can do for now is to be patient and to wait, try to get buzy working get ya days buzy both of you during this waiting, everything will be ok, your case was sent back to states even if you were already approuved because the person who pass the interview did not believe that your relationship is true, so he returned it back to the States to reconsider the case like he's saying " this case should never be accepted from the beginning", it happen to all those who were denied. but they did not give up and they make it, everything has a beginning and an end, try to go visit your husband every time you can, it'll help you both, your husband should try to remember his interview and write all what happened and try both of you to see what was the red flag? and to fix it for his 2nd interview, you can see on this forum that you are not the only one that go trought that some did wait more than you, so what other have more than you? the light will eventually appear at the end of the tunnel, someday you will remember all this and then just smile just laugh. good luck i will pray with you guys

is that a no?
i see no one answered your question loll? it was for me the question? its about ma visa? well they have still my passport for 3 weeks now, we called them one time, they toled us, even after approuved the security check is a normal thing so they will call as soon as it finish, the sad part is that i lost my ticket lollllllll grrrr why i did not ask before doing it :'(, the good thing that i will be there before the christmas godwilling. thanks for ya advice evryyyone even it was late for the ticket.

We are working on things to send them. The most we could send would be a couple weeks of chat logs. The computer I was using previously to talk to Hamza is no longer functioning, so I don't have any conversations saved from his interview till the point the computer broke. (other then the past couple weeks). I could send a phone log of texts sent back and forth. We don't call each other, because using the computer and web cam is financially more logical for us. I'm not able to go to Algeria at this point, so I wont have any visa, or airline tickets purchased to show them. Maybe we can find other things to send. I have called them a few times to ask if there is anything we can show them, to help prove our relationship is real... and they always so NO, if we need something we will call and ask for it. So i don't know. We are trying to come up with some things to send anyway
Were you in AP, or AR ? Were they just doing background checks, or were they questioning the validity of your relationship ?
heyy guyss how are you ? first we are in AP and its better than get case returned to the states
, but dont worry it's just a security process for them ,maybe they have informations that some terrorits are trying to get to the states, or something like that, everyone knows that girls get them visa the next day or tree day after the interview, so for some reason they approve girls right away and give guys AR
, so if its just for security process we are ok with that lolll we will let them do them work they have all the right to look for a safe america and i agree even i miss my fiance soooo alooooot, cuz i want to live with her in peaaaaceeeee, be strong.
-
well, maybe they are puting all your evidence in the tabel, e-mails , letters, pictures, and they are waiting that both your feeling waves come out, they have a glasses to see that like for watching the movies Avatar. its crazyy how they want to review a feeling.
-
i will pray with you, and with us too lollll, after his interview they gave him back his passport or they keep it ?
-
well apparently it was not heaven because she LEFT and most likely he was just a himar to her and she was sick of it. What does the western sahara have to do with an american woman leaving her husband because she didnt want to be with him any more? You are dragging the western sahara into this debate?
if someone met you online at a cyber cafe and is online for 100 dirhams an hour, they certainly are not going to have the jack to drop 1500 on a royal air maroc ticket.
noooo im not dragging the morrocan sahara in this debate, bye bye im going back to those topics where young people are talking abour process tc plzzz and good luck
-
God?.... well im in the same place as you,i got my interview the october,13 and i was approuved, and they keept my passport and said they wil call me during one to twoo weeks im still waiting them call. and you can never know what happen, whar they are doing in your case you can just sit down and then wait and pray god to help ya out.

Thats Europe Yassine, France in particular because you cannot really live off the system here considering we get very little free. In Europe, when someone has a child, they get stipends which is why now the French economy is faltering because too many people are immigrating, having 9 or 10 kids and no one is working to support the welfare state.
I think thats what your "friend " told you. She probably decided she was sick of Morocco and went back to the USA. If he wants to see her, he can pay for his ticket cant he? Tell him to marry someone from Europe next time. Marriage blanche or lawriat works so much better when its a 200 dollar plane ticket and not 1600
nooo he toled her to live in morroco, she agree, and she was not sick of morroco, she dont live with camels waiting the help from spain and algeria to eat like some lazy people do in morrocan Sahara, here we work to eat, like in america you dont work you die. we are not a lazy groupe of people waiting for money and food from spain BOOOOOOOO.
-
well i guess it can happen, but oh well everything can happen, i heared about a american girl went to see an arab guys just to get twoo bebes with him and after left him and never come back to see him, she went back to america to be payed for those kids and live without be forced to work. i guess its just a stories nothing real

Let me tell u something AGV really I read almost the whole comments on here however it sound for me not necessry to do since I found the reason for why u was denied since the beginning,I have a small experience in VJ but Im also living in Casablanca just away walking from the US embassy and I heard stories about this Asian lady she is do rude bad person like everyday she can refuse many of Visa demands for Visa immigrant or No-Immigrant one also I heard before this Embassy can make a decision about the case before the person asking for the visa can show up there my turn hope its coming soon to stand there face to CO " I wish it will not be this Asian Lady inch Allah" wish u all luck and as others here said its not the end there is always a way to make what u really want life is hard but keep believing on u will live together no matter what.
~Karim.
its not true that the asian lady is a hard time giving, i was there and i saw how she act with people she's so kinda good person respectuful, she's the only non-american person that talk morrocan, ans i saw how she talk with people she's so polite and nice, i believe the denial isnt a problem created by the US govenment or the CO. This is a situation born by the people from our own country that did things in the past to create the need to prove the intent of the relationship today. yeah its sad to see them puting everyone in ths same Titanic, but they have no other choice but to do it like this, what a CO can do with someone that been asked about the last name of his wife and he answer is " I DONT KNOW ", if you are true love, if your feeling are real and deep, and if your case is solide believe me you dont have to be afraid about this asian CO, believe me be your self and everything will be ok good luck brother all my prayers.

Well we are going to continue with the next step which is to wait for the application to get back to USCIS. And maybe contact an attorney.
an attorney will help in any way, so that money you gonna spend for that, purshase a ticket to go meet your hubby to spend time with him then get more evidence for your case, then come in visa journey i guess people in here are more helpfull then any attorney. good luck
-
I sent the application in june 2010.
i dont think you have a probleme in your case, but you did sent the application just fews mounths after meet the first time in internet i mean october 2009,
you meet the first time october 2009 you pass the interview october 2010, i guess so you shuld take your time to know each others more then that cuz its a life that you will share the rest of your life. they like to see couple that been together 2 years and more

Well we met on Facebook in October of 2009, and we contacted each other by phone, email and via web cam. We talk to each other every day since the first day we started communicating on Facebook.I have made one visit to see my fiancé, for 21 days. I had used my vacation time for 2010, so I would not be able to go till 2011. My fiancé is 34 years old and I'm 36 years old.
Thanks for responding
i guess its that, meet in october 2009 and send the case for the K1 just after, you start the process before you meet or fews weeks after you meet, its a red flag.

I got this from an international matchmaker.
"Some applicants mistakenly have the belief that by getting married, that they automatically prove their relationship is bone fide. This is not the case. An UNmarried couple hoping to bring a fiancee to the USA, and promising to marry after arrival in the USA, is viewed the same way as a Married couple who has just recently married and applied for a spousal visa.
You will be speaking with the same consular officers when you attend your interview for the CR-1 visa."
i agreeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
They asked for hers(beneficiary), not mine...I think I initially wrote our CV...No I am way above poverty line.
me i wuld send an e-mail to the embassy to find out what the word CV mean
-
i guess V mean visite but the C i dunno
-
I'm guessing CV = curricula vitae, is analogous (but not the same) as a resume`
lollllllllllllllllllll curricula vitae for a k1 visa that's funnyyy, what they want him to wrote on it? his ex experience in love

Please do not respond with this tone in the immigration forums. Personal attacks for any reason are inappropriate. Do not respond rudely in a post if you think someone else has been rude - report it to a moderator using the Report Button.
Since this website is made up of people from many different backgrounds and English is often not the first language, it is sometimes difficult to understand exactly what information someone is requesting. Asking for clarification is fine if done politely. Stating you don't understand what is being requested is fine if done politely. Not participating in the thread is also appropriate. The more clearly someone is able to describe their situation, the more accurately someone else will be able to respond.
i got you, but to say to someone your english is horrible when he's or she's waiting for a help can make his feeling worse, anyways im not rude i respect everyone, i guess everyone did understand question and some did help and its ma last say in this topic.
-
I am sorry but your english is terrible and it is really hard to figure out what you are trying to ask. Anybody else have a clue?
i dont understand why people get to be rude sometimes without reason, you dont understand what she said you just dont answer and skipe the post that's it, she want a answer she dont want someone who tell her about her english, your good english will not bring your husband
-
yes i knoooooooooooooooow pffffffffffff it will be hard but what you gonna do in this euch situation, i love her aloot alooot and cant live without her, so if i stay in morroco i will be bored without her even if i have freidns and family and i can go everywhere, my time here is buzyy so buzzyy but, that's why we call it falling in love, you just fall....
proof of relationship
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
i dont think the consular will read your conversations where there was arguments and say " well they fight that mean them relation is real lets give them the visa " i think you should show nice things, anyways the e-mails took just 5% or 8% of the level of proofs cuz you have just to start your computer and write words in ya keyboard and push " enter ", a letter is better, you write it with your own hand, you walk to the mail office, you buy a stamp you write the address and send it.
