K-1ers will use the site for immigrant visas, and we will use the DS-156(2), 56K(1) and 57(2) forms. Just for your information.

we will pay the MRV fee on Monday and our appointment on Dec 8 wednesday.

I am not good at negotating around VJ, but I have since learned that the UID is generated when you receive your Appointment confirmation page after you make your appointment. I learned this from Bhebe's post on the K-1 information post.

nope nbi and financial support is not needed in the medical.all you need to bring are the ff:noa2 receipt or the appointment email for interview{have it printed} 3 pcs 2x2 photo,passport and your payment which is 213.00 usd.goodluck hope this help.and by the way you can have your medical anytime,no appointment needed.but just to give you an idea its best to do it in the afternoon but be sure yo...

Your Fiance Dexwent to have his shots today, did SLMCEC keep his passport to forward to USEM ? I am having my Fiancee in Cayayan De Oro, Mindanao go to her bank BPI and ask a manager there if they are preparing to accept MRV fee collection,she is doing that as I write this, I am almost certain that this is why that there have been no appointments given out, we are just stuck in the wrong time

Chazzie, so there are no available slots, is that only in december, or does that include Janurary ? Is the appointment schedule on hold indefinitely ? What is transition ? Are they incorporating new rules ? Just asking to see what is going on there. when I called the other number, I told the woman that my 4 months are only good until 02.26.2011, she told me that USEM is aware of that fact.

Chazzie, I just received my Notification letter from the National visa Center, it is dated Nov. 8, and I just receive today. so look for yours very soon, I know with the NOA2 and the NVC Notification Letter, our sweethearts can go take their physicals, which isn't too shabby. I think the system works, I think we just have to give it time, Be good !

when you call the 1888..9888 you are calling the call center, when you call the 301-2000 number you are calling the Immigrant section of USEM, they will entertain you even if you are applying for a Nonimmigrant K-1 Visa, but I think we should give them time and let the wheels turn the way we are suppose to, I try to follow the rules anyway, tell you what is annoying, is this 400 character limit...

chazzie, I just called the 301-2000 number at USEM, and the told me that the electronic portion of the file is in Manila, but the physical file is not there yet, or has not been entered into the system, your fiance will receive a letter from the embassy when it is ok to make an appointment, guess we have to trust them, the woman was very nice and was ontop of everything I was asking, Be Good
