I'm getting to the point where it feels nearly pointless to keep waiting on someone at USCIS to care about the people's lives they have control over. Tom will be coming for Christmas at least. Let's hope that the PoE let him through since this stuff is still pending.

No and it's driving me crazy too! I just hit 3 months since USCIS received a few days ago.....

I miss being with my fiance I wish they really did process FIFO but it's more like it gets passed out and just sits one someones desk. Getting an NOA2 seems like winning the lottery because it's seeming so rare!

*keeps waiting* We've decided to move the wedding back due to them slowing so much :-/ Maybe everything will be finished by April :-/

101 days waiting...think its safe to say i have lost all my sanity and grace for USCIS!

I lost mine a long time ago. My fiance and I were talking last night... we pretty much decided it's probably easier for us if we pretend we haven't sent it in yet. To the USCIS we're just numbers, they don't seem to realize how hard it is for the couple.

I live in Texas near the border... tons of illegals. It would be easier just to have my fiance fly to Mexico and cross the border than to pay and go through all this. The only downfall... he couldn't visit his family because he would have to fly back to them instead of cross the border. I'm all for the immigration process to be in tact and I agree with Arizona's policy, except the fact to make immigrants carry paperwork (#######?). This is the law of the country and it's not being enforced. Next, they'll be trying to take away guns and freedom of religion.

My fiance is thinking the same thing about me. I keep stressing over it more than he does... he's the calm one in the relationship lol.

I really do like that everyone seems to care about everyone because we're basically all in or have been in the same boat.

People that do things the legal way usually get screwed.. so i'm starting to learn

they're also increasing the amount for the rest that we have to go through after the i129f. so we paid extra for this and also are going to have to pay more for the rest of the process. USCIS Price Changes

Also Feb 25th is my OH's bday so hopefully it'll be lucky for you!

That seems to be cutting it really close now. When they were flying through them and giving out NOA2s in a month, we were a lot more hopeful. Now, all we can do is pray. Hopefully that will make it the lucky day for everything to work out! ^__^

The only date we can work for both our families is Feb 25th. We've tried discussing an alternate date, but nothing seems to work :-/

Hey everyone! I am shaking sooo bad right now! I just got a text/email at 6:32 tonight (eastern time) from USCIS telling me that my case was updated.... I checked.... my petition was APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't hate me. Just know all of your times are coming soon. VSC is definitely back in action. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??

It was an exaggeration. I'm just annoyed is all. I think it's almost worse when he's visiting me. This last week has been a dream, but a mere snapshot of what our life will be like when he gets here. IF he ever gets here at this rate.

I know the feeling :-/ I think if they actually went more into detail about where everyone is in this whole process, it would ease a lot of tension. Example: currently waiting to be worked, currently running background investigation, etc.

that screen was modified and maybe that is why we got touched..oh well. I don't know if many of you will noticed at least one of the redesign.

I think that was the reason why we got touched..maybe the new application set the day when the few small makeups of the website came live on Sunday.

That could very much be true. Usually government sites will redirect traffic with updates to their website... maybe it's when the servers got equally redistributed again? *sigh*

Ours was also touched. It's actually comforting to know a lot of people are going through some of the exact same emotions/processes/problems that you are.
