Hello everyone!!
I m here hoping to get some peace of mind...

I have my Oath ceremony scheduled for Feb 10th
But last night a friend of mine said a friend of his got a call of USCIS yesterday saying her Oath ceremony ( which was supposed to be today) got cancelled......
I was like " that can't be right...."
Then today I made a post similar to this one on some FB group for citizenship help, etc and it seems a few people have been either getting calls or letters from USCIS and pretty last minute saying their interviews OR ceremonies were cancelled..

On my friend's friend case they told her it was cause they needed to do more background check on her..

I don't know, I am trying to remain calm and think positive, I cannot wait til my ceremony on the 10th so I can breath ha ha
Has any of you heard of any similar cases recently that we have a new president??

I am a bit concerned cause I 've heard of a few people getting a letter or call from USCIS saying their interviews and ceremonies are being cancelled...

I passed my interview!!
They made me read " who can vote?" then I had to write " Citizens can vote"
The questions from the civic test were:
1) What group of people were brought to the USA and sold as slaves?

2) Who is the vice president now?

3) How many amendments does the constitution have?

4) What is the highest court in the USA?
5) Why did the colonists fight the British?

6) Who makes federal laws?

Then of course we reviewed the N400 form info, I signed, he said congratulations and that he was gonna recommend my application for approval and I should get the Oath ceremony letter in a few weeks
I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my interview on Monday morning, wish me luck everyone!!

I have my interview on Jan 23rd, so I m studying and getting myself ready.
One question, do they go through ALL the information u put on the N400 form? or just some sections of it??
I ve been watching some videos on youtube ( I know I shouldn' t believe everything I see there) and it seems they ask u how many times have u been outside the US since u became a permanent resident and when was the last time u left, where,etc

I ve been out a total of 6 times and i remember the destinations but I am afraid I ll have a hard time remembering the exact dates of all the times I was outside the US in that period..
Should I be concerned? or they don't ask that much detail??

I am gonna try to be relaxed and confident ( that s why I wannabe prepared) so I pass, wish me luck!

Passed my interview this morning! In and out in less than 30 minutes. Read and wrote one sentence, answered 6 questions, and they asked me if I was affiliated with any communist or terrorist groups. And then I was done. Was told my oath ceremony should be sometime in February.

Could someone update the table for me? I always have a hard time editing it.

Looks like not many of us have gotten the interview letter yet....
I just called uscis and I got an answering machine, after entering my receipt number they told when I had my biometrics appt ( July 7th) and that was it..
I was hoping to talk to a representative and ask if the uscis website info is accurate cause it says they are processing ( still)Feb cases but it says something like " info updated as July 30th "....
Does anybody know how can I get a # to contact my field office instead and not the 1 800 from USCIS?
I think this process can take a while but I see other people who filed in August and they already have an interview date and I feel frustrated
I m expecting a baby for April,sometimes I feel the baby will be here before I become a citizen...LOL

I just checked the uscis site and it seems the Jacksonville office ( my field office right now) is still reviewing applications from Feb!!! ( I sent my papers in June... and for Hartford it says the whole process takes about 5 months, that means if I was in CT I would probably have my interview around Nov....

WOW​ I just checked on https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do and St. Paul is now processing applicants from December 10, 2015

It seems like it will be another long wait, this was updated September 15, 2016.

I have a question for you and I hope you can help me....
I moved from CT to FL last in July last year and now my husband and I realized we don't really like it here and would like to move back up north..
The thing is, I sent the N400 form and all the paperwork back in June, I had my biometrics appointment in July and I haven't had any updates since then...

Do I have to stay in the same address until I move or if notify USCIS they can re direct my paperwork to the " new field office" in case I move?
How does it work??

So if April filers are getting scheduled now, It should take a lil while longer for June filers I believe...

It s gonna be 3 weeks since my bio appointment and I haven t heard nothing or had anything new added to my online case account.
When you got that " in line notification" was that on your online case site?? or u got a letter letting u know they were about to schedule u for an interview??

I like it better this way, I would be scared they would ask for something I cannot provide or something..

Everyone's looks like that. Information would be listed there if there was an RFE.

That's ok I didn't know I couldn't post it here.
I also shared that screenshot on a different group of people that went through or currently are going through the naturalization process and they told me what I saw is completely normal, it doesn't mean I will get an RFE, they do it for everyone in case you do need to submit extra documentation you can do it there.

I know I am supposed to wait until the status shows " in line for interview" and then receive the letter for the interview with all the info.
I just went and checked my online case account and I saw that ( I attached a screenshot) so u know what I mean..
Does it look like that for everyone and they make it in case some RFE is needed in the future? or this means they are gonna ask me some kind of RFE already??
There s no info on the table and I haven't gotten any RFE letter on the mail so I m a bit confused/ concerned , I hope I don t need any RFE, I sent a HUGE pile of papers...
Hope someone can help me and ease my mind

Hello everyone!!
I have a quick question
I had my biometrics appointment yesterday and it went great ( Now I gotta wait for the in line for interview and interview letters I believe) but i m a tiny bit concerned/ confused I better say cause I went to my online case account page and when I go to recent cases and case details it says the application is in process, that it has been accepted but it s under review.
Then below that it says RFE and it has a place to upload documents but there s NO information whatsoever...
Do everyone s panel look like that and they put it in case you actually need to submit more evidence or does this mean that they are gonna ask me more evidence??
That case was created back in June when I received my first letter, etc and I didn't get any letters for any RFE
I m scared, I hope this s how everyone's pannel look like, I will try to take a screenshot hiding my info and show u how it looks so u get a better idea.

Looks like I got my B day present today, my first NOA letter and when I check online with my receipt number it says they had already scheduled me for the fingerprints appointment but I haven't gotten that letter yet..
I updated my info on the board.
It says that if I haven't received the noticed by July 17th, I have to go to some E request site and get a copy of the notice..
Does this sounds normal? I hope so!!

So the fact that the transaction shows as pending on my account means things should be ok so far?
I suppose if there was something wrong it wouldn't even say pending right?
I will let u guys know once it clears, this info is from today cause my hubby has been checking the account daily and he saw this pending charge today, mins ago.
