  1. It is possible. I did so in December. I just made sure that I had a letter from HR with my vacation dates and that I would be returning to work at my permanent job on this day, copies of 6 months worth of pay stubs, and utility bills still in my name with my address. I expected to have a ton of questions, but when asked my purpose for the visit i replied "Visiting my fiance and his family for Christmas" He said and when will you be returning? "January 4th" He said, alright have a nice trip. It's always possible but ultimately up to the boarder agent. Be sure to always purchase cancellation insurance for your flight...

  2. Hi there!

I'm super excited as my medical has been scheduled for April 18th and my interview for April 19th (both in Vancouver, BC). What sort of questions do they ask? I'm so nervous, excited and scared all at the same time!

  3. Hi all,

My name is Sarah and I'm 25 yo and I live in Canada, my significant other lives in Texas... how do we know what the best and easiest way for me to get to Texas is??? I tried to go to the US embassy here in my city to talk to someone about the different visa options but they won't see me in person until I pay an application fee, but I don't know what to apply for??? Would it be easier to file for the fiance visa or to try and get a work visa?? We both want me to be out there as soon as possible. If anyone has any advice on the best course of action for us please let me know.

    Thanks so much,

    Sarah
