    got the letter today for his interview, I'm a bit worried cause he hasn't been able to get his SSN, because the office said he couldn't until he got his EAD. Therefore he hasn't gotten a drivers license or any sort of bank account, cause they say he needs a SSN for those. I hope this won't affect anything.

      We did print off from the website for the SSN, but he said everything changed after 9/11. Ah well, I can open a thread if you think it'll help !

      https://secure.ssa.gov/apps10/poms.nsf/lnx/0110211530 proof that K-1 are eligible for a SSN, document dated March 2012, those SS employees were very badly informed...
