Got passport today! Leaving November 6th Inshallah!

Called DOS and told us my husbands visa has officially been approved and issued since Friday! Inshallah we get in in the mail soon

Almsot two weeks and no visa yet.. I think we celebrated too soon =(

got a call oct 12 to send in husbands passport for visa.. =)

just waiting.. hoping no AP.. and hoping they dont decide to make it harder for us again

MQ that missed number your husband missed (44-7624-100000) want from the embassy. Its actually a recorded message from Israel asking people if they know any whereabouts about missing soldiers. I got that call once before and so did my parents on thier phone. I got freaked out when i read your post, but I googled it and looked at each site. Its nothing to worry about i hope

Im actually living in America, but I'm here waiting with my husband for his visa. I can't imagine him waiting for it alone!

No I didnt attend the interview. I don't think they allow you to if you're the one who petitioned. Plus I was in the States at the time. I applied for his visa here in Jerusalem. Its MUCH MUCH more faster than applying in the states. Maximum 6month...

He was told to swear an oath, finger printed, paid the visa fee, and they took all his original documents.

Well my husband didn't mention much. He said the officer who interviewed him was nice. She asked a couple of questions about how we met, why he wanted to go to America, what he would do when he got there, if he gets financial help from anyone, etc. Basically questions concerning us.

Husband was approved of visa on tuesday! Waiting to get passport in mail.. hopefully they won't delay us again!
