    The office of the congressman called Matt back today like they promised. We were really pleased by their "quickness". Matt called this morning and he received the call back in the afternoon. He talked to the immigration specialist of the congresswoman and this specialist called the USCIS VSC to inquire more about our petition. So girls, the reason it was not "touched" at all was because we sent 129-F after two weeks we sent the I-130 (spouse visa). They took the I-130 and atta...

      As soon as they pull our papers into the cabinet of petitions (lol), they will work on it. Girls, who would not be pleased with the congresswoman's office? At least now, we have a clue on what's going on. What a relief!!!

      having the Congresswoman call for u will help ur case a little bit, but in my experience the Vermont Service Center takes a lil bit longer then other. Texas is even worse. The good news is many who filed same place and around same time as u guys are still waiting for NOA2. I say good news because most likely your delay is just because they are overloades there plus Vermont has more down time due to Weather problems, plus Vermont also processes most of the K-1 visas

      Matt was able to talk to the immigration specialist in his state. And obviously, she worked for USCIS before so she knows what went wrong as she explained to us and as what I wrote above. So, she requested our case to be expedited which was granted by the USCIS VSC.
